Lol :) I don't know.. but I am afraid they might suspect it as you know... better not to try we'll never know. Try using forever living product --- ALOE Stick. It's a nice product and last for a while. I read somewhere that Tawas is not good actually but well.. up to you! I won't risk though.

Good Luck!

When i came here last year I forgot to check my stuff and I had tawas in my check - in luggage. When my sister in Maine learned that I had it my bag she freaked out!! Last OCtober she reminded me not to bring tawas. Actually I stopped using it here .Anyway, My advise is you can find something here too that will be hiyang for you.

Customs may mistake it for crystal meth and you'll be in a lot of trouble. Better not take the risk. Anyway, tawas can be bought online if there's no Filipino store near your place.

It's not the crystalized tawas in the small plastic bag. It's the "MILCU" brand. It's a powdered tawas. The container is like the one you use to your baby with a puff. I think Bench has it too. I'm not sure. You can't think it's met because of the container and has a very baby powder look. I'm thinking of putting it to the bottle of johnson's.

If you think your 'cannot do without' tawas in powder form is all worth of the trouble and risk then bring it with you. Good luck.

I did bring 2 pcs of Milcu, no problem. And my sister brought half a dozen on 2 different occasions, that didn't cause a problem in the immigration. Just put it in you baggage. And don't remove the portective seal yet.

I googled "tawas" and saw this site selling tawas in the US: http://tawascrystal.com/

If you really want to bring tawas in the US, dont bring the powder/fine form, bring the big crystals (big stone) form. Just pound it once you get home.

can i bring tawas or alum in my baggage? in the cfo seminar they said it is not allowed. anyone of you who already brought this undrearm protection in the US? because for me it is better than stick and roll on.
