I am going to book my flights this weekend, can anyone who has been through Vancouver tell me what time you went back for your visa and how long it took? I was going to book my flight out for 6 pm but am not sure that is enough time.

*January 24 2006 - mailed in I129-F petition

*January 25 2006 - I129-F received at CSC

*January 30 2006 - packet returned.....arggggggggg we forgot one signature!!

*January 31 2006 - sent I129-F back to the CSC, hope we did not forget anything else

*February 1 2006 - I129-F received at CSC again

*February 3 2006 - NOA1

*April 20 2006 - NOA2!!!!!

*April 24 2006 - Touched!

*May 15 2006 - NVC received petition today!

*May 17 2006 - Case left NVC today!!

*May 30 2006 - Received Packet 3 from Vancouver!

*May 30 2006 - Faxed back Packet 3!!

*June 6 2006 - Received packet 4!

*June 20 2006 - Medical in Saskatoon

*June 28 2006 - Interview in Vancouver!!

*June 28 2006 - GOT THE VISA!!!*June 30 2006 - Moving day!

*July 3 2006 - Home at last!!

*July 28 2006 - married!

*September 13 2006 - Mailed AOS/EAD package

*September 25 2006 - Received NOA for AOS/EAD

*October 6 2006 - Biometrics appointments

*October 10 2006 - Touched!

*October 19 2006 - Transferred to CSC!

*February 2007 - kids medical and sent in RFE

I had my appointment for 10 AM, was done before noon and they told me to come back to pick up my visa at 2 PM. We got there a bit before 2, and were out by 2:10 with visa in my passport.

We just had our interview in Vancouver on Tuesday. All the visa recipients appeared to receive their visas at 3, not 2. We wound up having to stop by and get fingerprints done at 3, and we don't have the visa yet -- they'll send it instead. Leave some time in the afternoon in case something odd comes up as it did with us. 6pm ought to be alright, as long as you have your things together and have a plan to get to the airport.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

My fiance's Iview is on July 10th. I called the airline and asked if my fiance' can get on an earlier flight if there are seats open and they said yes she can for $10.70. Thus, I'll book my fiance' for the 9pm flight and if she gets done early at the Embassy, and arrives at the airport by 4pm, then she can request to fly out on the 5pm flight or the 6pm flight if seats are open... if not she will have her 9pm flight that she can always catch.

Feb. 13, 2006 >> File arrived at NVC

Feb. 14, 2006 >> Faxed NVC to request change of Embassy for my fiancee as she moved from the Philippines to Canada Jan 20 2006

Feb. 15, 2006 >> NVC had me fax a 2nd request for Req of Change of Embassy.

Feb. 16, 2006 >> Called to ck on 2nd fax request, too late, file sent to US Embassy in Manila.

Feb. 21, 2006 >> Called US Embassy in Manila to ask for Req for change of Embassy to Vancouver. The representative said it shows the request already made. (Evidently from the NVC or Vancouver)

April 3, 2006 >> Received call from Vancouver US Consulate informing me that my fiancee needed to fax them a copy of her Canadian work permit, our case #, current address and phone #. Fiancee faxed requested documents that same day.

April 20, 2006 >> Packet 3 rec'd from Vancouver US Consulate.

April 24, 2006 >> Fiance' faxed DS-230 to Vancouver US Consulate

April 24, 2006 >> I scheduled medical examination for my fiance' for May 1, 2006 $220 Canadian.
