Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie here. :star: My US fiance filed for K1 in August and we are now waiting for NOA2. I have a question. I lost 2 old passports (I've kept 2 newer ones) with the entry/departure records. I have travelled a lot and don't remember all the places/dates of entry/departure in/out of Japan. I heard that people need to bring old passports to K1 interviews. Is/Was anyone here in a similar situation? If so, could you please tell me what to do? Fortunately I don't think I have stayed in any foreign countries (except the US) for longer than a year. But I'm nervous if they need the old passports to make sure that. Thanks.

You don't necessarily need your old passports, but it is possible that the immigration officer asks you when and on what visa you visited the US in the past.

When my husband petitioned for me, the officer took copies of US entry stamps on my passport and asked me some questions about when I lived in the US on F1 visa.

Good luck.

Thank you, redglasses! That's a relief! :) I was an F1 student too. But luckily I have kept the passport with F1 visa stamp. Recently I've requested for my old entry/departure records to the Ministry of Justice just in case. Hopefully this will work.
