Checked out of curiosity due to this thread & same for me! Not able to access any info when click on case number

That makes it over 24 hours since I've checked!!

I tried to check status this morning... I could login alright, but if I click on the case number, it only selects the box and will not give details.

I have just gone to the website and I can't login. They show this message after I click "submit": Access To Selected Resource Not Authorized.

You have not Logged In or Your Session has Timed Out.

Hopefully when they fix this, they will fix all the rest. I mean, approve the people waiting for more than 6 months.

Yes, it's behaving strangely this morning. I suspect that their system is in the fritz...when they bring it up, we should all see updates. My theory.

I couldn't agree more with adding that the updates with approvals! ;)

I'm reposting this, because this is why!

if you sign up for USCIS website updates, you would get an email letting you know when there are updates, new info, and memos about site maintenance. Just FYI.

Could this have been the problem?

CRIS System Scheduled Outage

November 13, 2008 - The CRIS System will be unavailable from 9:30 PM EST, Thursday November 13 until about 1:30 AM EST, Friday November 14 for maintenance. The CRIS System includes Case Status Online, Change of Address Online, Civil Surgeon Locator and Field Office Locator.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks for the info Cassie!

I guess by 1:30am Friday the 14th, they mean Monday-ish. I always get the USCIS website updates emails like three days late. That means when the website is working again, I'll get the email saying it will be down.

I'm signed up, and I never get an email of any sort from them. Not once. If the bit about the site being down wasn't posted here I wouldn't know.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

It's not an email you get for having an online account with USCIS, it's one you sign up for here:

https://service.govdelivery.com/service/user.html?code=USCIS

You will get an email whenever there is an update on the USCIS page, some of it doesn't apply to our particular visas and some of it does.

Hang in there everybody. I got our NOA2 some time ago (see below), and the web site still says received and pending. Both Vika and I are set up for email from USCIS, and we still haven't been notified of anything. The file is now in Kiev.

Even if you can't see it, there is work being done at VSC.
