Timeline

At first it was between Dec. 25th and Jan. 1st (that seemed like a nice time to get it)

THEN is was between Jan 5th. and Jan 13th. (this sucked, but I wasn't going to freak out about it)

NOW it's between Jan. 17th and Jan. 30th!!!

Will the dates keep getting further away the closer we get to it? It feels neverending and I want to cry!

It has everything to do with how many people join VJ and start timelines...update /or dont update timelines. It also seems the centers slowed down a bit recently. Hopefully it will pick back up. Hard to know for sure but I can tell you that our dates climbed the entire time too. ;)

Must keep perspective when looking at Igor's list. ;)

Don't lose hope and dont' stress. I applied in early August. When I first started checking my date was early Nov. It moved out as far as Dec 29th  then started backwards (closer to current date). I think it got to early Dec, then bam!! approval early October. Those things are just gauges and not rock solid, so use them as a guide but don't stress. You have more important things to stress over, like wedding planning!!

hi there! i wanted to share this good news to you, our petition got approved just today:) My fiance received an email from UCSIS stating that our petition is approved. Just as when my fiance called me and told me about it, i checked on the VJ timeline and it is March 12-26 but we already are approved.Even before it, our timeline keeps on changing every other day, sometimes it is moving backward then forward..I know how it feels especially when it keeps moving forward, the longer the waiting period. But hang in there! One day you will be surprised that your application is already approved.Good luck guys!Remember that God is good all the time.HE knows the right time:)

Check on this:

*Current processing times can be found on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov under Case Status and Processing Dates. this is more updated.
