Hello guys,

I just called USCIS and asked to be transferred to VSC. After demanding (in a good way  ) this I was finally transffered. But to my surprised when the transfer was answered I asked if it was VSC... and NOPE... it was some office in Los Angeles. Well anyway, I was attended by a Cuban lady. I asked her to give me more information on my aplication, since it had been already more than 6 months and I had no new information since May. She told me that on November 6, 2008 a transfer notice was sent to me. I asked her where was my application transferred to and she said she did not know. Here she put me on hold and when she came back she said that she was having problems with her system. Well anyways.... I asked her again ... Where is my application being sent to... and she said the same... that it was being sent somewhere else but she did not know... Here I said so ... it should be sent to California because VSC and CSC are the ONLY 2 Service Centers that deal with I-130's.

I wanted to share this information with everybody here... and also ask: How is it possible that this doesn't appear on the USCIS website. I haven't had a touch since May 14. Well I haven't received any notice in the mail either. If this information given to me by this lady is true I should be receiving the notice at least by Friday.

I AM GETTING SO DESPERATE!!!!!!!!!!!

LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!!

A lot of IR-1/CR-1 petitions that were originally sent to VSC are being transferred to CSC. I also heard they are having problems with their computers or something at VSC. A lot people being transferred to CSC have been getting their petitions approved pretty quickly also so if you truely did get transferred to CSC, it could mean a really quick approval. Good luck to you and your wife!
