Joe, I only have visited Houcine one time. He took with him for the first interview 60 pict., over 100 pages of emails, newspaper clipping of our engagement from my local paper, my itinerary from my trip along with boarding pass, our engagement ring receipt, ticket stubs for train/bus during my visit, and then last week he took in another 20 pages of emails, phone records, and finanacial infor from me and my parents. The lady who has done the interview did not give a reason why, just said case is still pending he would be contacted. Im not sure what is going on in that embassy but there are several people waiting right now and no one has been issued a visa. I am hoping they are backlogged or something. My gripe is not with the time aspect of the whole thing, my (our) gripe is with the way he (Houcine) has been treated and spoken to by this lady interviewer. She has been very unproffessional, seems to be biased, and just very judgemental. All of these things are what she SHOULD NOT be in her job. Her job, as we know, is to look at the evidence and make a judgement call on whether it shows a real relationship. I dont think she has even looked at the evidence, by comments she has made to Houcine. But, I will wait for a reply from the email I sent yesterday and if it is generic, I will be calling them again and demand to speak with someone with some sort of authority. THis is just so frustrating to know that our fate lies in this womans hands. Rachel and Houcine

That lady sounds like a b***h that is too bad. Sounds like you had tons of evidence- I wonder why they don't believe you guys have a "real" relationship... not sure if Morocco is traditionally a hard place to get a visa from? I hope you get a good response to your email. Hang in there and it will get done....

im sorry to hear about your situation, i know how you feeling not to be granted visa right away.At least your application is not been sent back to USCIS as what i have seen from other cases. Though the waiting could be really frustrating.

My fiance and i met once for a short time because he had short vacation but im still hoping i wont get a denial or something....

Dont lose hope, be patient and act and do what you can do.

Yes we did. We both had several letters to each other along with a boxex I sent to him of gifts and him to me. We copied the top of the box that showed the address, postal and all that. So again I not sure what else we could have had. WE also had snail mail f rom his family to my parents and my parents to his family.

thats enough evidence to consider for a bonafide relationship,sometimes we just dont know what these consul have in mind. Philippines is a high fraud country and im not sure of Morocco though.

Keep us posted. Keep in touch with your embassy and dont let your visa application die on natural death thats what others have done close to your case.

i wonder if your visa is in AR or AP or denial however when i was studying and reading other cases or thread that they dont deny unless you didnt make any move...

yet research and ask people who have gone on the same road like yours,they will be a big help to you,wish i could help you too....

Hi Joe,

Have a great trip and I'm sure you will have good news to share with us later this week. Best of luck.

As for us, we are in Hong Kong right now. We've got our packet 3 documents in order and will send in our "readiness" letter to the consulate tomorrow. We hope to have the interview scheduled within the next couple of weeks.

How are the rest of you November filers doing? Anyone completed their interview yet?

Just a quick note on our interview yesterday (Wed.) Loooong story short, we got hit with the AP thing. I guess it is called an "administrative process." We were literally the last ones called up to the window around 3:30 pm and grilled for a good half hour. I will have to go back and read the archives to see how this AP thing works- I'm sure that will drag on. I don't know what the percentage of people who get this get ultimately denied? I asked the interview guy if it was because we had a "red flag" or something, and he kind of implied it (AP) was a random thing done by a different division or company or something to keep them (the Embassy) in check, like a check and balance thing. Is that true? Was a bummer not to leave with a visa... Still in Bogota for a couple more days....
