if i am in the US visiting with my fiance during the k1 process, can the consulate in my home country (canada) mail the paperwork to the US? i know i will have to return for the interview and medical, but can the alien's current address reside in the US?

I don't believe the consulate will pay the international rate to mail a package to a US address, they will mail to the resident address listed on the I-129F

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

No, they won't and be careful to avoid representing "residing" in the US. You are authorized to visit, not reside.

Maybe you can have someone with access to your home mail to repackage and send to you. The last I knew, mail between countries is horribly slow.
