Happy Caturday everyone

Just came back from the Hair salon.. hate my hair color!!!! she doesnt know what shes doing n i cdnt find the lady who always dyes my hair!!! im just arrrrrghhh. ok i need to calm down n be thankful for the blessing of even having hair on my head :innocent: alhamdulillah.

ok ill have to pay 3OO$ for overweight in my luggage and i guess ill just settle for that becoz i cant get myself to leave anything which is driving hubby crazy but i cant do it!

Have fun ladies at the meet up and looking forward to seeing loads of pix ;D im chilling at home tonight n tomo everybody is coming over for goodbyes :cry:

K&o let us know when hubby makes it home to ressure us eveyrthing if ok

Try to keep in mind that there is a time where you will have to carry everything you bring and there will not be anyone to help you unless you get really lucky. Going through customs and immigration is the main one as you must bring your own bags through there so make sure it is manageable for you. That is my best piece of advice.

Ok, I'm ready to go to Carmens house! How exciting to be going to do something fun and it doesn't involve work or cleaning! but I hate trying to park anywhere near chicago! They are really big on parallel parking and I am more of a 'pull right in suburb' kind of driver. :P

I'll post pic when I get home. (brni-i got my bells on)

I'm moved into my new house and nearly done with all the packing. Thank God for that! Finally convinced my grandfather to come out and visit. He is going to be here a week from Sunday and stay until after Thanksgiving. This weekend I need to go out and find a bed for the bedroom he will sleep in and then get the room ready for him. Guess I'll be busy!

Also, I put a bird feeder up last weekend and finally today the birds found it. It is hanging from a tree in front of the house and my cat is going crazy watching all the birds come by, lol.

Good evening everyone:) it's 1015pm here...and I'm about to head to bed.

I just realized, I'm the only one who's never happy about Saturdays...it's like our Monday here.

Kelly, I just sold my elliptical and I'm so happy it's gone! Had a busy morning and I just got back from a Turkish cooking class (for a hefty fee of $5  ). I learned how to make grape leaves (Sarma), sesame seed rings (Simit), and sweet carrot balls (Cezerye). Then we got to eat what we made...:thumbs::dance::thumbs: Now, I'm about to make some hummus to take to a party... see y'all later taters.

Hope the Chi-town meetup is going well... have a slice for me. :star:

i know its a lot  but the lady from the airlines told me they dont charge by the kilo; they charge $15O any overweight even if it was only one kilo -on each suitcase- so im thinking ill never be able to have the bags as small as they want it to be -23kg- so i thought im paying either way i might as well get most of the stuff i want. i still left things behind.

SandS- u re right it worries me that i will have a hardddd time dealing with luggage :crying:

bridget- i think Delta airlines wdnt really take any pleading from me....or wd they?? was ur hubby on egyptair?
