Just went to the embassy website to schedule my interview and noticed something about the DS-156 form on there. It says fill out the form online and then print it on an injet or laser printer. Handwritten or typed forms will no longer be accepted. I filled out most of the form and printed it with the bar code and sent it to my fiancee. I didn't have the info on a couple of questions so I just told her to fill them in. Since a couple of the questions are answered in handwritting does this mean they won't accept the form at the interview? Also what is the document verification fee and where do we pay it? We are filing a K-1 visa.

Why not fill out the form again? Use a PDF writer such as CutePDF (freeware) so that you can have a form filled and in PDF format. Also, DV has been temporarily removed due to the application backlogs.

Best to have her fill the DS 156 online herself. She has to pay $131 in pesos at BPI and she'll they will give her a DS 157 . She can fill it out by hand. She also needs to fill out a DS 156K.

Needs 2 DS 156s - 1 DS 156K and 2 DS 157s. Paste PP pics on DS 156s.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

I agree with the others. best to have her redo the DS-156 online. the information entered on the DS-156 is encoded in the bar code.
