My husband purchased e ticket also, Northwest Airlines, from Manila to Detroit, Detroit to Asheville. i went to the Airlines Office nearest to my place and present to them the printed copy, i got a ticket from their office. but when i called the airlines after he purchased the ticket, the one answered the phone said, that i can go directly to the airport bringing the print out of my e ticket, there is no problem on it. i make it sure so i went to their office before i travel.

I was JAL Airlines from Manila... just show up the printed E-ticket and her passport/visa. That's all they asked. I was told to pay Philippine Tax though.

Happy trip to her and happy reunion soon!

Just show them your Passport/Visa. It would be better also if you pay your Travel Tax in the Dept. of Tourism Office in your city/province before your departure date to avoid any hassle at the NAIA.

Just double check if the travel tax is paid already. Also, it would be wise to have a photocopy of the e-ticket.

Hi! One more thing, did you buy the ticket in cash or credit card? If u used credit card, give her a copy of ur CC and a copy of ur valid id, they will not honor her tket if she wont have it.

E-tix,passport should be fine upon check in-Not sure about the travel tax.Coz i didn't pay mine and my 2 children. We purchased our tickets through expedia although when we called expedia about travel tax the said it wasn't included on our payment but i didn't pay a dime at the airport. But to make it a hassle free, bring with you pesos that could cover the terminal fee and other unexpected fees at the airport, and if you get lucky without paying anything, you can change it to $ at the forex booth before Immigration, like i did. So,better ready than sorry.Happy safe trip
