i'm trying to check my status online with the 13 digits Application Numbers, but sadly this is what i always get right after i enter the WSC*000000000

Validation Error(s)

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

Case Status Retrieval Failed

The status for this Receipt Number is incomplete at this time in this automated system and can not be displayed. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

i don't understand what just happen. because the 1st 3 times i check my status online i'm getting a good responds. but after i take my fingerprints. maybe 2 days after that i go online to check it, till now that's all i'm getting that "Case status Retrieval failed?" what's this suppose to mean? anyone else ever experience this? just curious :wacko:

Also there was some reports that the case was removed from Online Query system after interview scheduled, and/or oath ceremony done.

Unfortunately the USCIS online update service is very, very prone to error. It's basically unreliable.

Sep 12, 2007 - Priority date

Nov 9,2007 - check cashed

Nov 20,2007 - NOA1: "expect to be notified within 425 days of this notice",

Jan 10, 2008 - fingerprints appointment (letter lost due to mailing address receipted incorrectly)

Feb 7, 2008 - fingerprints done (took about 10 min - as a walk-in)

Sept 8, 2008 - Interview date (letter received Jul 18) - rescheduled at my request

Jan 6, 2009 - Interview date

Feb 26, 2009 - Citizenship Oath

*online status "case received Oct 29", no touches showing.

Timeline

The online system is rarely accurate. I wasn't entered into the system at all for my entire N-400 to citizenship process and would always get the same message. I went as far as to call up the INS on the issue and was told by them that it's not accurate and many people are just never even entered into the online database at all and to not even bother going by it.

If you're not in it now, you probably won't be. Doesn't mean anything, keep checking your mail...

Ha, whenever I see a post like this, have to check my wife's on-line status, she's still waiting for her ten year green card and USC to be processed as of 30 seconds ago. So if they do post yours, don't expect it to change.

She did vote last Tuesday, legally.
