Though I am curious if this is a sort of "new" NOA1... which would, from the looks of it, unfortunately mean we're all back at the bottom of the pile.

yes, I had the same thought. I don't like their wording! Feb. 3 the last processing date and and June 14 the new "received" date? oy.

Yeah i got the same. All we can do is hope that they don't put everyone at the bottom of the pile. I think that would cause a even bigger up roar. (at least one could hope it would)

-------------- K1 Timeline --------------

2005: we met online

11-2005: started our relationship online

02-19-2006: Met Liliya in her home city Tashkent, Uzbekistan

07-04-2006: Touched (worked on the 4th of July????)

07-05-2006: Touched (at 9:53am est, little early for CSC hmmmmm)

07-17-2006: Touched (and E-mail saying they have recieved my RFE)

10-21-2006: Touched (hmmmm something wrong with how long it has taken them?)

10-23-2006: Touched (hmmmm maybe my calls once a week to congressmen and senators office helped?)

I got the same thing and wondered if this was a new NOA1 or not.

Well I think that since the case number is the same they will not treat it as a new NOA1 and start counting the time from today. Otherwise I think that they would inform us about that fact. I also think that since California is now doing i-129s and other SC are doing different types of cases things will move way faster. I mean come on last 14 days there was more going on with our case than it was for last few months - personally I take it as a good sign

Just got two e-mails from USCIS and came to check my case status. I've got a touch from CSC and the status has changed to show that they have recieved it.

"On June 14, 2006, your I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was received here for processing. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates"

Let's hope California speeds up a bit at least.

Yeah, just got 3 of these myself.

I got 3 from CRIS and that was all. Maybe that is just the person doing the input on the system.

Your NOA1 should still be the one that is on the paper they mailed you when you first filed your case. Unless you get a "new" one with a different date I wouldn't worry. It should work out the same as the ones that get sent from Texas and moved to CSC. They maintain the old NOA date.

BTW, I got the same email today also.

I got my 3 from CRIS.

Well, at least we know someone is going through the stack, I'll bet the RFE is going to come within a week...

My first NOA1 was 4/14/06.

I guess we won't know how long this is going to take until the RFE's and NOA2's start rolling in.

08/07/05 - Traveled to Bangkok on business.

08/23/05 - Met Paveena in Bangkok.

03/25/06 - Spent a total of 6 months in Thailand, back to USA.

04/12/06 - Sent I-129F to NSC

04/19/06 - Check cashed

04/22/06 - Received NOA1

06/01/06 - Case transfered to CSC.

06/02/06 - Touched

06/03/06 - Touched

06/05/06 - Angry as hell at the government for its incompetence in handling the IMBRA law

06/14/06 - Touched with a NOA1 notice from CSC. Great. Next time the government decides to take over health care or some other important/large enterprise, remember the IMBRA fiasco and be glad you were not waiting for a heart transplant.

06/15/06 - Touched

06/16/06 - Touched

06/17/06 - Touched

07/03/06 - RFE for IMBRA

07/05/06 - RFE Sent back to CSC

07/11/06 - Touched

07/17/06 - Notice that IMBRA RFE was received and is in the system

08/05/06 - NOA2 Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a very good point. Your case number has the recipt date in it. (NOA1 date) Unless we get a different case number the NOA1 date will not change. It would be a nightmare for the USCIS to try to change all the NOA1 dates. The only way it makes sense is to keep the same dates as before. I can't see someone that just files yesterday getting in line before someone that has a date of March 6.

I just got 3 from CRIS - I wish they would stop sending duplicates of everything as it makes me think they are completely inefficient. How hard is it to hit the send button ONCE instead of three times? Is it really necessary to spend twice as much on envelopes and stamps to send me exact duplicates of transfer notices?

keep in mind that these are automated system generated responses to your file being scanned into the system for a "touch" of one type or another. no person is physically sending you these emails. blame HAL, i mean IBM :P

i was touched again today as well. i just hope i am not getting rubbed the wrong way ;)

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.
