HOLY Moley!

Confirmed today that Montreal got our package and p3 already sent out to the correct address today! uhhh train of thought all mixed up now! LOL :)

WoW, I was just looked over your timeline. I am so sorry, but I am sooooooo happy that your P3 has been sent to you today!!! Just a few more steps and hopefully they go a lot smoother for you than the rest did.

Good Luck !

hehe ty :) ya it's been a long battle with uscis errors, lawyer errors, etc etc. Too bad i wont be home for xmas but if i can get home by february( wishful thinking) it would be nice. Davids bday is the 10th and v-day the 14th..would be an aweseom gift!

All my papers are done except the new online ds 160. amazing how much stuff you just keep repeating from the very first app to the end. you think they would know it by heart at this point :P

I called DOS and Montreal logged my packet 3 the day after they received it. Just a waitin' on that interview..

Question! Doesn't Montreal automatically extend, reissue, or whatever it is they do to NOA2s that have an expiring NOA2? My expiration(I'm making it sound like milk, LOL) is 2/27/2010. So if I dont have my interview before that they'll have to push it back. Riggghhhhttt?

Yes they do. My noa2 expired dec 6th, and nvc told us it gets automatically extended.

i have another question :) i was looking at what all is needed for my interview and it says i need to bring my birth certificate but it has to have my parents names? mine does not have this and i asked my mom about it and none of my other siblings have their names on theirs either. i'm from Ontario and i just have the little blue one with the picture of Ontario on the back. Does anyone know what they mean by having the parents names on the birth certificate? do i need to order a new one?

Thanks!

You need to order the long form birth certificate for this. The one you have is the short form. I'm not sure where you order it, theres a link somewhere for it though!

Yay Kim! I'm so happy for you! At last things are looking up! If you don't get your P3 by the 21st make sure you email requesting them to send it again (just incase). Hopefully it will get there to you quickly with no errors!!

I think you have to send it to the PO box, and UPS doesn't deliver to PO boxes. Xpresspost does.

Seems this has been dead for over a year but oh well. My fiance and I are waiting for them to schedule her interview now. Everything has gone smooth. DOS told us Montreal has been backed up due to staff shortage but is about caught up. We guesstimate that her interview will be March or April. More of a wait then we want but it is what we have to do.

 what been dead over a year? The last post in here was from yesterday lol. For Montreal they are a bit backed up, usually they try to get people through in 3ish months, so seeing as you put in your package last month theres a good chance you might get a February or March interview unless they backup like they did around mine which was 5 months. Bracing yourself for that timeline (april like you said) is definately a good idea so that you wont be disappointed if it happens, but my fingers are crossed that you end up with an interview a little earlier than you expect :D
