CALLED nvc THIS MORNING AND THEY SAID THAT THE POLICE CLEARANCE WAS MISSING???

ASKED THE REP IF IT IS MISSING OR WAS IT NOT EXCEPTED? SHE COULD NOT TELL ME???

ASKED ME TO OVERNIGHT THE COPY I HAVE, OR WAIT 10-15 DAYS, PUT IN A REQUEST TO FIND OUT IF IT WAS NOT EXCEPTED.....

HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED TO ANYONE????

SHOULD I JUST OVERNIGHT THE COPY OR PUT IN A REQUEST? OR BOTH?

SHE SAID EVERYTHING ELSE WAS FINE....

I suggest that you send your police clearance again. Use a courier (Fedex, DHL, UPS) so that you can track delivery of mail. They do tend to misplace documents and its much easier just to resend documents. Hope this helps.

thanks, is there usually an expiration on these documents? he got this one in January '08

I think Kosovo PCC is good for one year.

DId he get it from the court, or the police station?

I know the court in Kosovo issues a document that is not accepted by NVC.

it says on top municipal court in prizren on top but he got it from the local police station

I dont think he got the right one... :(

aug. 26, 2008----transferred to csc

sept. 19, 2008--- approved

NVC:

sept. 26, 2008----got case # from a live operator

oct. 6, 2008 ------received AOS bill/paid online

oct. 7, 2008 ------shows PAID

oct. 14,2008 -----IV fee generated/ paid online

oct. 15,2008 -----shows PAID

oct. 16,2008 -----mailed DS230 overnight

oct. 23,2008 ---- RFE

nov. 3,2008 ----- case complete

nov. 26,2008 --- medical exam

aug. 14,2009 --- remedical finally, passed

aug. 24, 2009 -- interview , passed

aug. 29, 2009 -- visa in hand

sept. 24, 2009 -- POE LAX

I think you're missing Shpat's point that...you sent the wrong PCC.

Sending it again will not help.

You need the correct PCC.
