I was reading the USE website and it said that K-1, K-2, etc. can call the call center to schedule an interview.. Is that the same for those applying for a CR-1 visa?

In DCF Filing, we requested interview at the US EMbassy in Kuwait. We sent them an email, but the process changed now, you have to request appointment online, and they will tell you what available date they have.

The Embassy here are not really busy compare in the Philippines.. We processed our CR1 VISA directly to the US Embassy in Kuwait.

Interviews for CR-1 visa are scheduled by NVC, so once your case gets completed on NVC, it will schedule interview.

NVC schedules interview dates every second week of the month for the next month. Given the fact that Manilla is a fast consulate with processing interview dates, so say if your case gets completed on 28th of November, NVC will schedule an interview date starting from 8th of December for the month of January.

Note-- There are no online request for appointments with CR-1, its all in the hands of NVC and respective consulate itself.

OP are you going through CR-1 or DCF? Because things are different with DCF, so do check on with your facts again if you are doing DCF.

DCF and NVC filing is different. Embassies overseas has different process and procedures.
