i sent my application form for my police certificate. first class this past monday. and i'm starting to wish i used regigisterd post. :wacko:

i know they say with in ten days, but what with all those reporting a lot faster turn around should i at least have seen the money gone from my bank account already? i know check take 5 days to fully clear but i thought that it would show deductions from my account before then? :unsure:

does anyone know if/how i can find out if they have cashed it yet?

My police certificate took 2 weeks to come. The money didn't go out of my account until after I received it. If you are worried, you can phone them to check if they are processing it... Contact ACRO on 0845 60 13 999 during their office opening hours (8:30-16:30) Monday to Friday or via email: acro.policecertificates@acro.pnn.police.uk. I'm sure it will arrive very soon :-)

Took me about 2 weeks to recieve mine to I sent a postal order though. You will get it at the end of next week I am sure!.

29/06/2004 Met online

24/10/2004- Officially started dating!

-Various Trips Between the USA and Scotland-

25/12/2007- Steven Proposed, and gave me a lovely Ring!

29/02/2008- Sent I-129F to VSC

22/09/2008-1pm - Recieved Visa!

04/11/2008 -Steven comes back to Scotland for the Celebrations!

09/11/2008- We return home together!

23/01/2009- Wedding!!!

Your I-129f was approved in 108 days from your NOA1 date.

Preparing AOS Forms.

09/4/2009- Sent AOS

11/4/2009- Received and signed for

20/4/2009- Received NOA for AOS/EAD/AP (Dated April 17th)

20/4/2009- USCIS cashed check for $1010

09/5/2009- Biometrics

11/5/2009- Case transferred to CSC

05/6/2009- Received AP

09/6/2009- Received EAD

22/7/2009- Approved!

27/7/2009- Greencard in Hand

Removal of Conditions.

15/5/2011- Received @ VSC

23/5/2011-NOA1

12/07/2011- Biometrics

My original was sent out to me after only 2 days (with a PO) but it got lost in the mail so had to get another...in all it took 3 weeks

If you get worried like i did...call them, they are very helpful :thumbs:

dont really want to have to go through getting that picture certification bit again., and cancel a check. or find out after two weeks that i need to redo

They will tell you if they got the application and sent it off....if that's the case and it got lost in transit , all they ask you to do is send 5 pounds and a letter with a number the person will give you and they will send a copy. If it got lost on the way to them, then yes, you would have to do the whole application again.
