Exactly. Share our experiences of the ups and downs, good and bad, trials, tribulations, struggles, success, failure and accomplishments. If sharing what I have experienced helps just one person have an easier time then it is worth it. So many times though people internalize what is said on this board and take it personally as a judgement on their relationship and their lives and instead of filtering through the info and finding what could/does apply to them and using it for their benefit they put up their guard, get defensive and pissed off.

OK, I see now. I get automatically defensive at times, and think there seems like a judgement passed by some. Things come across harsh, and I am like WTH! Thanks for pointing it out in that way.

Seriously, someone on here made me change my mind one day. I had these "red flags". She explained them all away. Said she saw things that I said and it wasn't what I (and actually what she) thought they indicated. It really made me step back and rethink some things. They are still going strong and have been for a pretty long while. I learned that day. I try to remember that lesson.

Thanks, JG - It was not an easy road, and I had doubts at times that I would make it through with my sanity - I have doubts at times that I did make it through with my sanity, lol - But I wouldn't have changed most of what happened for anything, because it gave me my most precious gift in life.
