First, and above all, CONGRATS!!! You must be psyched! My birthday is in a month and a half and I hope to get the same present!!!

Second, I got my NOA1 on Sept. 4th and I still can not track my number online!!! I called USCIS and they told me not to worry that my name was in the system (they looked me up by name and found me which was reassuring) and it could take up to a month. At around a month I called again and they told me the same thing and to wait another month (which is now 5 days away). The then sent me a letter saying their IT dept. was looking into it. Others here have told me not to sweat it, but as you all know, it's hard not to sweat such an important matter.

Any thoughts?

Thanks and best to all!!!

Wow.. that would make me nervous, too. Did they also verify that it could NOT be tracked online? Is it at all possible that you are not using the EXACT correct number? I used the wrong one a few times myself.

I've called and spoken to them on the phone on a few occasions. Every time they've told me my name is in the system and my case is therefore processing, not to worry and that the online system is only for customer info, but has nothing to do with the actual processing. The number on my receipt is the same as on the cashed check and I've double checked the number a bunch of times...

And I assume that you followed all of the directions in terms of entering the number... that's what screwed me up a few times:

The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS. It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). Dashes ("-") should be omitted when entering a receipt number. However, all other characters, including asterisks ("*"), can be included if listed on your notice as part of the receipt number. See the FAQs for additional information on this system.

Well, I 95% believe them that it is not an issue. Still, they should FIX it.

Next step just prepare all document that your fiance need. I take only 2 week to wait for my Packet3 after I got approval.

In thailand they change Packet3 checklist and process too. Your fiancee have to send all document including I-134 , W2 , Tax return and her Police cer. back to them with checklist. Don't wait to get NOA2 in paper you can print it from USCIS website and let her ask for Police cer. because it take 11 days to finished.

Good luck for both of you

How did you print the NOA2 from the website? I don't see any way to do that. Do you mean the "Printer Friendly Case Status" that says "Case Status Search" at the top?

The police didn't make you wait for packet 3??? Really? I thought you had to wait! Are you sure?
