Interview Date Timing for London

Hi guys,

I was just on the phone with USCIS and asked the officer approximately how long it would take from our K3 reaching the NVC to the interview in London...he said 4-5 months!!!!! That cannot possibly be right. Most of you out there appear to have gotten your interview date in 1-2 months. Do you think he was confused and giving me the wrong info?

I just cannot face another 4-5 months without my husband here...I hope this guy was giving me wrong information!

Usually once it leaves the NVC and arrives in London, average is 8-10 weeks to an interview.

They always give those "long wait" answers, then it covers themincase of delays, but it wont take anything like as long as that!!.once you know London has got your petition give them a week or 2 then start to email them asking if they have scheduled an interview date for you yet!!

If you called the USCIS (the misinformation line) Im not surprised they gave you that answer. The are a call center and flat chat giving out correct information for the service centers let alone the correct info up to interview stage.

About a week after our I-129f petition was approved it was received at the NVC. I called the NVC & got the case number so that I could book the medical. Our petition was only there a couple of days & then it was sent to the Embassy. It took 2 weeks for us to then get Packet 3. Now that we've sent that back we are waiting on an interview & based on the timelines of people who have just received interview dates we are expecting an interview date before the end of June. In reality you are looking at probably 6-8 weeks total.
