It is not being near or organized. It will help better to read all the documents, make sure all documents are recent, like NBI etc. Forms are properly and completely filled out.

I had a folder with sections for each form. I had a cover letter for the whole folder and seperate coverletters (a list with every document and copy) for each section.

I put each document in a sleeve and labeled each sleeve.

The problem is that not only one person works on your case. And it's nice for the officer since he can find every information he needs right away.

I see. My husband and I have been double checking every information reflecting on every form we filled out. And we are positive that everything is fine. We are just concern on how are we going to prepare it, (so young and innocent) lol..

hearing some advice I think we will be going to put separators on every form and we will be using a paper fastener then put everything in a (folder? or envelope? or a folder inserted to an envelope? :dead: )

You will be fine just double check twice.. One poster in VJ posted that her NBI clearance expired at the day of her interview and that caused delays in approval.. Your husband may want to file CR1 Visa instead of K3..This might be slower but CR1 is less headache.

Actually we are going the CR1 route since we would rather wait a little longer and accomplish more than what k3 can bring.

Thanks for the advices completely.:)

Hello sis!

Michael used folders with separators, arranged it as follows on the list of contents (cover letter) and 'post it' specifying each document. Sis, I don't think using a fastener helps, coz each adjudicator go over with every document and that would be time consuming...can say this basing from an adjudicator's post.

True, young and innocent :P

Good luck!

yes ate Marie, we will be using a separators, as per guidelines from USCIS site..

In preparing your packet, please take note of the following:

* Do not use binders or folders that cannot be easily disassembled.

*

Use ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated.

*

The use of tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. The tabs should be placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing.

*

Avoid using heavy-duty staples; instead use ACCO fasteners or heavy clips.

*

Avoid submitting originals unless specifically required. Avoid submitting oversized documentation when possible.

fasteners is stated there, however other kind vj friends told me to use clips.. :bonk: rarrr.. whichever...and another is that tabs on the button? how this will happen, I mean, can we just paste the little tabs at the button or we need a whole sheet for this? This is all what mu husband and I been figuring out.

Other tips contributed by Netscot...

1.) put the pictures to a zip lock. Then staple it to a blank sheet so it won't be misplaced.

2.) put also the entire folder into a zip lock to avoid circumstances like getting wet.

3.)Put proof or relationship pictures some captions at the back or paste it on a sheet then put captions.

4.)Put labels on every evidences provided.

5.) You can highlights important dates so the reviewer will find dates easily.

6.)And about the USCIS address,u can type it legibly then paste it on the top on envelop, with return address, and correct zip codes..
