My fiance met with his account director at his bank and she prepared it for him. So maybe you'll get more success if you meet with someone in person at your bank. I would bring the affidavit of support form to show to that person.

Not much but it's what I have to offer. Hope it helps and that you can get the info you need from your bank without too much trouble.

If I'm not mistaken, we just threw in a copy of about 4 bank statements. It was more or less just to show amounts in your accounts I think. Especially if you have direct deposit. Gene took one from about a year ago, then quarterly, with the last being the month before the interview. Later I thought someone here told me the bank statements were only if you were self-employed. I'm not sure though if that was correct or not.

And just as a side note, your bank is being weird! Since when do they need a letter from immigration to give YOU a copy of YOUR account records. Should be none of their business who you give it to. You can request stuff from your bank, since it's your account. Again, don't print out or have them print out 52 pages of stuff. Look over the directions and see if you even need to bring it, and if you do, I'd just do what we did.
