HELLO TO ALL VJ MEMBERS!!!

I am a OFW's, new to this VJ site, as far as we knew we can get some important information from here.

I have something to ask, did any one has had experienced to take the NBI or POLICE CLEARANCE while working abroad? Where to take it, is it at the Phil. Embassy abroad in where you presently working, or need to request the form to the Phil NBI office? Can anyone share their experiences and opinion here, please... I may need it when time comes to apply for K1 visa. And also, do I need to take two (2) clearances, one from the country I worked in and the other is from Phil. Please share ideas and thanks in advance.

I'm not an OFW but you can still get your NBI clearance while abroad. See the link.

If you have already stayed abroad for 6 months, you already need to get police clearances from where you're at. I'm presuming you're in Singapore.

I am in similar situation. To apply for the NBI clearance, you may go to the Phil Embassy in Singapore and tell them that you are applying for an NBI clearance. The person in charge at Window 1 will assist you with the requirements. Just make sure you have a picture with you. They're very helpful :)

You will then need to send back your forms to the Phils and ask a representative to file it for you to the NBI office (I have yet to submit mine so I don't know how long it will take).

Hope this helps.
