Slight panic

So am getting everything ready to go and come to "Passport" on my list and can't find it. I JUST had it the other night when I was putting my itinerary on the state department website. I'm not totally panicked - yet, but am a little bit worried. My 16 year old son cleaned off my computer desk so he may have put it somewhere, but my daughter was looking at my picture too and she claims she doesn't know where it is. I'm also missing my divorce decree paperwork that I need. My son won't be home until late tonight so in the meantime I am going through EVERYTHING right now. Found other things that were on my desk but not my passport

Oh no...I sure hope that you are able to find it. Is there any way you can call him to see if he set it somewhere? I hope you have a great trip :D

Whidbey - are you from Whidbey Island in WA? Just curious as I am not to far from there at all.

No can't call him, I don't allow my kids to have cell phones. He's at the football game so he'll be home about 10pm.

Absolutely from Whidbey!! Moved here in 72, moved off for about 10 yeras and moved back home 7 years ago. Live on southend.

Panic over!!! Passport found. It was under my desk  Don't understand how it got there as there is less than an inch of clearance, but oh well it is now in my carry on. I am nearly packed, just have a few things to buy at the store and some things that I use daily that I'll pack Wednesday night. SO left for Thies this morning after he checked in at the apartment ot make sure it was being cleaned. He and his friend bought a computer so that I will be able to email with my family every day - ain't he sweet!!!!!!!!!

Bon voyage! Stay in touch while you're over there, too.

I have a special folder and I keep everything in it, I have not lost anything. I make sure to keep up with it as the things I have in it I don't want to replace and some things I can't have replaced. And that folder is just for things dealing with Nigeria only I don't use it for other things. Hope that you find it!! If so I would sugg to get a folder and keep in a safe spot vs on computer desk esp if others use the computer. (IMO)

With 5 kids and a grandson running around, organization isn't always on the top of the priority list. I actually did find it though, it was under my desk. I have a feeling that my son who isn't too keen on the idea of me leaving put it under there because I just don't see how it would have fallen under there as there is less than 1" of clearance. Oh well, what's important is that I found it.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

I understand. I know for ME I can't afford to lose anything as it cost enough already (trip, visa, passport etc). So if I lost those things oh boy, more $ lol But happy that you found it!!
