Hi guys,

I can't look at the lists where all those December couples are being approved every day. I have never been too emotional, but the last month has been awful, I just can't stop crying.

Hate all those people who can't do their work in time, who lose our cases, who have to be pushed ahead! I hate them so so much!

JOKE TIME!

A teacher was doing a study testing the senses (taste) of first graders

using a bowl of lifesavers.

The children began to identify the flavors by their color:

Red.......................Cherry

Yellow..................Lemon

Green...................Lime

Orange................Orange

Finally the teacher gave them all HONEY lifesavers. After eating them,

none of the children could identify the taste of honey.

'Well,'..... she said, 'I will give you all a clue!

It's what your mother may

sometimes call your father.'

One little girl looked up in horror, spit her lifesaver out and yelled,

'Oh my God!! They're ####-holes.

Hey there ..... I feel your pain (F) Just know there is support here for you whenever you are feeling down, optimistic, frustrated, etc..... we are all on the same emotional rollercoaster as you. Our NOA1 date is Oct the Ist and we have had no news also. My fiance contacted the USCIS customer service no twice now, to be told they are working on the 23rd of Septs petitions. I know looking at the timelines on here that doesnt make sense, considering we are seeing Nov, Dec, and even Januarys being approved, however we have to have faith. It will be ok... you will be approved even though it doesnt fell like it at the moment. M x

I think the NA02 stage was really hard...the hardest, especially when you see people being approved after 2 or 3 months. I stopped logging on for a while because it was too much.

Stay strong & be sure that there is a light at the end of the tunnel & you WILL receive your NA02 soon. :star:

Thanks MonkeyJuice for your support  I have just been looking at your timeline and noticed a service request. What exactly is that? And when can you request it? Mx

Ok...service request: After your case is past standard processing times (California was 6months not sure about Vermont) you call USCIS customer service who will then tell you that you have to wait another 30days before you can call back & enquire.

Then, after this 30 days is up, you call back & they will put in a "service request". Basically, they will look into your case & write to you within 45 days (ours took a week or so) with an update. With ours, they told us we were in 'additional background checks'.

Don't worry, most people don't have to wait as long as we did. Good Luck

I agree. It is the worst part cause you can't make any plans and timelines don't apply anymore.

Wow I didn't know about this. We're in our 7th month of waiting. My fiance called last month but they only told him that they're doing things in order and we're just going to have to wait. Should we try calling again?

Wow I didn't know about this. We're in our 7th month of waiting. My fiance called last month but they only told him that they're doing things in order and we're just going to have to wait. Should we try calling again?

sorry, dont know your story, have u contacted ur congressman? they got right back to me and soon after we got approved...not sure if they had anything to do with it...but cant hurt.

We got approved a little after 7 months. I wish u all the best! I know this is agony! Stay strong! You'll get it soon! (F)

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jere. 29:11
