So is there anyone else left here besides me? (and Sara (F) )

Unfortunately, I'm still here too.

Maybe USCIS should have a line from Dante's Inferno "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here" printed on top of their application forms. It surely feels like that to me.

193 days since we submitted the petition. I know it's nothing in comparison to some people here... I'm just about coping, hanging on an increasingly thinner thread of hope with each day passing. How are rest of you making it through? I've filled every waking minute of my day with something to do (and I work 10 hours day) even to the point that I started making jewellery but I still wake up crying...

Grats Dani :) well deserved.

Chris and I are refiling after I have entered the country at the end of this month, come April it will be 8 months since we originally applied.

how come u guys are refiling?

sara

Hey Sara, we are refiling because they have lost our case, it has in fact disappeared into thin air it would seem. When Chris went to the USCIS office the officer he has been dealing with (same one now for each visit) recommend that we re-file because that would be considerably quicker then waiting in a hope that they might find the one we sent originally. WE have also been informed that we are able to expedite our case because our situation has been caused by USCIS error and that the officer Chris has been dealing with is prepared to fill in all necessary paperwork at his end to enable this.

It sucks, we expect that the earliest we will be approved will be June (would be a nice Bday pressie for me though) so hopefully August/September is still a possibility for my visa to be in hand.

Grats Saramat on your NOA2 :)

And Grats Dani, though I think ive posted it a few times *hugs*

hey kat, anytime soon you will get yours already and I hope for Sara too :)

and soon this topic will soon be gone :)

Thanks mhaze.

It would be nice if USCIS could work in a timely manner and some sort of queue system so there would be no queue jumpers and this thread wouldn’t have to exist in the first place. Fantasy world…. :(

Maybe this week will be a better week for us all.

BTW, is it me or does it seem that VSC, at least, seem to do most of their approval work in the last week of the month and the approval rate drops with each subsequent week, picking up again in the last week? Meeting up targets? Hmm....

me i gave up i have started packing for india i have contacted my attorney all last week no reply so i guess he has not been able to find out anything either............what makes this such a big crime against me is that my mom is sick and i take care of her so it means packing my mom my smaller sisters and brother and dragging them to india........i cant see coming back the move will cost a lot of money so what is the point of returning? im so angry at this system and the total ####### it spits out for excuses i think no one at csc can even tell u if its day or night out side with out having some one tell them they are that freaken stupid...........im so upset today over all of this my own health as many of u know has been effected by this mess.........and as someone said, how long do u let it keep going on? im at my end i have reached my limit..........and sadly it has even started effecting my relationship with perviz we are both crabby people now this is just to much for any couple to go thru with out going in sane time to end it!!!!
