Yeah - this is really the only thread I can look at without getting depressed. It's really upsetting for me to see people from AUGUST getting approved cause I thought I would have MY approval in August when they were just filing!

Hey Wendy! I feel you ! I dont want to wait any longer neither I mean ####### is the go with my RFE? I had rfe in early octb handed it in late OCTB.........ITS DEC............I thought it went quick after an RFE.......... I havnt checked IGors since my RFE......i DONT read other posts.....too depressing ! To tell you the truth i maybe check USCIS WEbsite like once a week i dont make it my main priority now ...so sick of the same depressing news.... So Depressed and Impatient Emm...................

hey ZOe i didnt make it to the states... i got sick like 10 or so hrs before i was meant to fly ! wORSt luck ever with me lol! Neways ive had surgey and recovering , much better now cant leave til after xmas so i will be there with shun for new years! which i am excited about. i emailed my lawyer and told him to call he said we should here something soon the dickk excuse my language hasnt called yet! so im gettn shun to go down there and hound him.......... how long from ure rfe were u approved? xoxoox emmm

Yeah - I thought after RFE everything went quickly!!!! ####### is right!!!

I can't look at Igor's list or anything else either.

But I still check the USCIS website about a hundred times a day. I guess I should stop doing that!!!

At least in Oct I got 3 touches so I feel like my file is not lost. For awhile I thought they lost it and just weren't telling me. It's the most frustrating brick wall I've ever come up against.

I forgot you weren't able to go yet.... Soon though! hope you're feeling better! Our RFE got there on the Tuesday and we were approved the following monday...and it was touched twice in the middle... our layer said he managed to speak with whoever's requested the RFE and they said they would do it as soon as they got it back...not sure how he managed it but he obviously did something right this time! Good luck! Keep bugging them, you'll get there! x

If I would have waited this long I would just make alternative plans for some other country than the US.

thanks we have made other plans if this same same is going on in june im moving to india i didnt want to move there but what else can we do?

Yeah, sad but true. Nothing you could really do about this.

Call me crazy for thinking this but sometimes I think such things might happen for a reason. Maybe you guys will eventually be far happier in India.

We originally didn't want to move to the US either but I want him to finish his studies. Once he is done I hope that I'll already have my GC so we can move freely. But actually I am sure that after some years we will go back to Europe or even move to some totally different place.

We are just travellers that always get bored after some time in the same 'world'. We need to have adventures even if this means that we fail and have to get up again. And now here we are; one more adventure: dealing with USCIS.

If you could chose, guys, what country would you want to live in?! Even if that is just temporarily?

well at some point in time we were always going to go back to india but it was my bright idea that he should come to the usa and work in usa hospitals for a while to learn new procedures that he has not used before.........also having citizenship would allow us to go any place in the world with out a lot of problems like NOW..............

Well, it's nothing compared to your story. I never thought this process would be so hard. We aren't even close to interview stage yet!
