Well... I'm at 5 1/2 months and waiting. I have no touches :( I figured I'd join this group since I'm close to the 6 month mark... so depressing, but at least there are the jokes that help lighten up my mood!!! Good luck to all still waiting. Lets hope the centers decide to start processing cases again!

mmm no u cant we are full  just joken seriously u will prolly get ur noa2 next week

sara

Ha ha ha! :) I hope so, but I just have had a bad feeling lately... like my case has been lost... The majority of November filers have been approved and are well on their way to being with their fiances if not already... this probably has something to do with my bad feeling... I can't imagine how you must feel... I pray every time I open this thread that I'll see that you got your approval. I just can't believe they've kept you waiting for so long! Good luck! I really really hope you get yours soon!!!

awe thank you, and yep its hard some days are good some are not, and if im ever blessed enough to receive the noa2 u will see it all over this site lol, but seriously i dont think u guys will have to wait to much longer, for one the country ur s/o is coming from is pretty easy compared to some of the other countries.

i will add u guys to my prayers i really hope u get it this week or next

sara

Sara, have you seriously been waiting for NOA2 for over 19 months? Talk about unfairness...

yes seriously  i have heard every excuse i believe that csc has except the excuse of loosing the file.

i would hate to think how long the wait would be if we had a difficult petition :D

sara

That is so much to wait! I mean, aren't they married? Those people from USCIS are weird. What do they say? Have you contacted your congressman? Well, you have probably tried everything possible. I haven't heard of anyone who has waited for such a long time (which isn't saying much since I haven't heard of everyone) but your waiting time is outrageous! It makes we hope for your NOA2 more than we do for our own! haha really, I'm so sorry.

no we are not married yet! no fault of ours lol we been trying.

sara

oh i think she meant, arent the ppl who process the approvals`married. they must be able to imagine the pain of being separated from their love. or not...

there was a few months back one couple that had waited i think three years and there is a girl i talk to from the Philippines that will have two years in when july rolls around. she dont come on vj much because she gets so depressed seeing everyone approved.

and very sadly there was a girl that waited almost two years as of last year, their relationship broke off and they got their noa2 about two weeks after that, but it was too late.

this visa system that is in place is so out dated and broken, i honestly do not think they even know what they do with some of us older cases.

i hope that with what kim is doing for us will draw enough attention the inadequate system that is currently in place so that some governmental official that has the power to make major changes to it does.

even if it does not help our personal case i would be happy if what we are going thru gets enough attention so that no other couple ever has to go thru what we have been thru. :)

there are so many couples that have offered to do what ever they can i just cant see this not drawing enough attention to make some changes what do u think? anyways is just my thoughts on it

sara

that is awfu! how sad! i can see being too depressed to come on here, n i can see how it can affect ur relationship too. I really hope we can make a loud enough voice!

 well i guess we all know what im thinking about lol marraige!!!!!!!!

Sara, I am checking this thread every day, waiting for your approval or, if not yet, waiting for that petition site. I really believe that we can do something about your case, if we all sign that. I mean, it is something without precedent if so many people, who are also ex- I-129,130 petitioners or petitioners, protest against somebody's misfortune!

USCIS will be like :blink::wacko::(:hehe::huh::o

I had that feeling too! I had no touches or anything. 5,6, 7 months passed! finally went to vist Paul in the uk again n on my 3rd day there my sis texted me that an approval letter arrived in the mail (that was march 4th). and just LAST NIGHT I got an email from uscis that we were approved. lol! i kid you not, it took them 2.5 months to email me, wen i already got the letter early march. yikes! hang in there! i bet you get it this month!

Sara, any news from keri/russ working on the petition? (F)

I just happened upon this thread and found it an interesting read. I'm scared TO DEATH of becoming an over-six-monther. its been 4 months for me and my babe and i think i would have got my NOA2 by now but i had to do a request for a waiver RFE. Hoping and praying the NOA2 comes soon but reading whats happening to others has me worried. i cant let her know im worried though. I would LOVE to be able to see what goes on at USCIS, fly on the wall type of thing....... are they really working or just jacking around? do they take their work seriously, with empathy for our situations or do they laugh about the power they have at making us sweat and wait?

anyway, i pray each and everyone waiting gets their approval as soon as possible[ including myself ] im going to see my honey in 14 days[ SO EXCITED!!!] we see each other every 2 or 3 months- if affordable. every time i leave, she goes thru several days of tears and it breaks my heart to put her thru that. I want the next time i go to be the one that i bring her back with me. I wish USCIS workers could realize what they put us thru and have a heart and just approve the damn thing quick!

well i will be praying u get ur noa2 very soon, this group of people are some of the nicest u will ever run into and truthfully i cant think of any that were ever in this club and made it out that has not came back to cheer us on, how ever its not a club that i wish anyone to have to belong to because it shows that there is yet another couple going thru the wringer at one of the service centers.........

good luck and i hope that you have a very swift journey with no problems

sara

Thank you Sara. i wish you luck and speed with your case also. Have you tried contacting your congressman? make him/her earn a fraction of what they make and have him/her call and check on it. i've heard that it works. Thats gonna be my ace card if i need it. Best Wishes

Tony
