Received my Packet 3, at last!

Yay! After mailing the Embassy on Thursday, I think it was (or it mighta been Wednesday), they finally sent the Packet 3 I was meant to get. =D Thank you to everyone who helped both me and Knight while I was panicking.

=D now to get cracking on those papers!

How long in all did it take? Our case left for London on the 10th, but Nathan has yet to receive the Packet 3.

Well guys, 'cause I can't travel until my degree's done, I sadly have to delay until May but! time will probably fly, and I'll be sending off the forms to them over the next few weeks.

Ooh. Well, let me think...it took maybe about two weeks to get the P3 after Knight received the approval letter. I was checking daily =P.

That sucks about having to delay that long. I'm going to have to wait about a month I think after getting my visa in hand before travelling to the US and I think that's going to be hard but to delay upto 6 months that's going to be rough. Make sure to travel as much as you can! In the long term I guess the benefits of having the degree and securing a better job far outweighs the benefits of leaving sooner. Good luck to both of you

Since you can't go until May, I would delay returning the Packet 3 forms more than just a few weeks. You only have six months to travel after you get the visa. So I would think waiting until the start of the New Year would be good actually. Once you've returned the forms, it can be two months or less before you have the visa.
