do you check the status of N-400 current process times by the USCIS local field office? For example, look here (this isn't my local office)

TIA

Yes, that's how you check the current processing times for N-400, but their dates are not very dependable.

N400: D/O - Las Vegas, NV

10/10/08 : N-400 Mailed to CSC.

10/13/08 : N-400 received

10/16/08 : money order presented for payment

10/20/08 : NOA received ; case transferred to NBC

10/16/08 : date of notice

10/14/08 : priority date

10/27/08 : FP Notification received

11/13/08 : scheduled for FP and done

01/21/09 : IL received

03/23/09 : Interview scheduled and completed successfully!

Happy and waiting for oath letter- 4 to 6 weeks according to the IO........

04/11/09 : Received Oath letter (scheduled for May 1)

05/01/09 : Took oath!! A very special day for me and my family!

Hi. I kept checking the site all the time. I also called USCIS and asked them to check on my status because mine never showed up on their site (always says it can't find it). I called them and they told me they mailed the interview letter that day... which they did since I got it a few days later. Good luck.

Ha, instead of saying:

"If you would like to see our current Processing Dates for Applications and Petitions, click here."

Should say:

Processing time for N400 is average time from N400 receipt date to initial interview data.

So it may not indicate much.

Besides the statistics for N400 is less reliable than others since it is not done from service center.

Service Center processing is pretty good at updating the status, so you can get more accurate data.

But District office work, especially N400 thing, is not up-to-date for computer data update.

Therefore those data may be out-dated, or in-accurate...
