Hi All,

so im being completely neurotic but im wondering if it seems too long. We sent my husbands AOS, EAD, and Advanced Parole papers in March..they were received March 31st and we got the NOA 1 and he had his biometrics in mid April. Does it seem wierd that I havent heard anything else...not being touched even? Or is this totally normal and I can continue drinking my iced coffee without chewing all the ice...as my stress vice.

Im just curious because i think Sharon and Jenn (who are going through Boston too) recieved info back already and they were only a bit before me. I know every case is different and such im just curious.

Thanks all.

Although not in Boston, check my timeline. AOS interview more than 6 months after the NOA1. We went months without being touched.

You can worry, but it won't do you any good ;) Patience :luv:

I think the only reason Sharon and I have already heard is because we received RFE's. Our case hasn't been touched since right after they received the RFE response.

I wouldn't worry at all, Sarah. I'm sure everything is moving along as it should.

Sarah,

You shuold have an idea of about how long your DO takes for AOS cases---not all of them are quick (try 3 years in NYC & Florida!). That will help you manage your stress, if you know about when to expect some contact.

Relax :)

Ditto what Jenn said. We only heard because of our RFE. You're less than a month behind us, and we got RFE'd more than a month ago, so hopefully that means you're not getting one!

Did you apply for AP?

We're still waiting on his cousin to give us the documents to send in our RFE response :crying:

Don't freak out yet! Hicham had to wait 3 months just to get a biometrics letter. Our interview (in Florida btw) took about 6 months from filing. That is looking like a pretty standard timeframe lately.
