Things to be grateful for

With the delay we are facing with our K-1 visa and the upsurge in cancer deaths in my friend's families lately, I'm really having a hard time staying positive. I figure it's time to concentrate on the good things in life.

Things I'm grateful for:

1. Phil: He's always there to support me. He's a wonderful man.

2. My future inlaws: I can't imagine finding a more supportive and loving family to marry into.

3. Friends: While I was visiting Phil for an extended vacation, we joined a pretty liberal Episcopalian church. There are a lot of great women my age that I'm looking forward to spending more time with.

4. Family: My family are very supportive and things are looking up. My future step-mother is a great lady. I'm so glad my father found her.

I know it seems a little hokey, I'd love to see what other people are grateful for. The world seems so neagative with the economy and the nastiness of the American elections. I think it's time for a break from the gloom.

mmmm I'm thankful for the love of my good man, who takes me as I am and who lovingly supports each of my many "moods" and "expressions". Even when we disagree or have different perspectives he never makes me feel like I'm an "outsider" but he gives me more and more reasons each day to love him and cherish our relationship. THAT I am so grateful for!

I'm also grateful for new home town. It's got it's issues for sure, but for the 1st time since I came to the US I feel like I want to stay here, and that's a gift.

I'm thankful for the things God shares with me and others. I'm blessed with the love of a beautiful daughter, whom I miss very much every day. I have a wonderful man who loves me just as I am. My family and friends who are always there when I need them.
