^^This case is another proof that we STILL need to pay DV!

See what she wrote...

I greeted the lady “Good Morning†she asked me if it’s a good morning, I said it is indeed a very pleasant morning, then she smiled. She asked me;

If I pay the Document Verification? She asked for my receipt.

Then original copies of my BC, CENOMAR, NBI. She then asked;

Who is your petitioner?

Btw, girl, CONGRATS!!! Another good news:)

hi everyone was able to call earlier and the girl told me that there are cases that still require document verification, if the consul or pre screener asks u receipt , then it means , u qualify for a doc verification =) hate dv tlga

CONGRATS... hope to get our visa soon=)

Thanks, with DV or without DV I am still so thankful and grateful. I feel so blessed that I will just be waiting for the visa, it might take a while but I know soon it will come. Who knows...

Hang in there jettyglenn, your visa will arrive when you least expect it, have faith! God bless!

congrats!!!u will be here soon!!!yippeeee!!!!

MARIEEEE, thanks... yaaaayyy finally I am done hahaha :D

how are you doing there?

My interview experience: K1 Visa 10-16-2008

...................

She then check my DS forms, and asked me to sign 156K (the portion where it says DO NOT WRITE BELOW THIS LINE). She noticed I attached another paper for my DS 157 regarding question numbers 9, 12 & 17.............

What format did you use for your attachement. Did you provide individual paper for each number (i.e. 1 pc of paper for #9, another pc of paper for # 17)?

I used 2 bond papers, coz it did not fit in one, answers for questions number 9&12 on first page, and answer for question number 17 on second page.

I used the same format in DS 157. (I hope I answer your question... thanks).

Congratulations!!! :dance::dance::dance: .I'm so happy for you.I'm glad you had it easy.Thanks for all your help about my trip here in PI. I arrived here last Oct. 12 without any problem.Have a safe trip soon to the USA :thumbs:

Hiiii... thankssssss a lot! I am also glad you were able to come back safe here in the Phils and I'm glad everything went well with your ticket ehehehe! (sis wala naman ako masyado help na nagawa LOL you made a good arrangement medyo natagalan nga lang yung issuing ng ticket mo)... Hope somehow, someday I would be able to see you in the US. yaaayyyy hahaha I am excited to see Jeff again LOL :dance:

My interview experience: K1 Visa 10-16-2008

Woke at 4AM. Had a nice breakfast. Left the house at 5:30AM. Dropped by at a hotel nearby where Maria (allrightsreserved) and her daughters waited for me.

6:10AM - We arrived outside USEM Manila. Waited for few minutes then our scheduled time of interview was called and we had to cue in line. Showed ID and appointment letter to the guard, scanned our things (the guard said my bag was too heavy haha).

We were asked to sit on blue chairs, waited for just 20 minutes until we were asked to get our stub numbers. Before I got my stub I was asked for my DS forms. My number was 7005.

Few more minutes my name was called and were asked to go to window 16 for finger scanning.

While waiting for pre-screening, I was talking to the person right beside me when Maria told me 7005 is already flashing on the q-matic board hahaha (her number was 7006 and she does not know mine was 7005, she only said that because she’s thinking she’s next to that number, so be aware and stay focus on the q-matic board) Ok, I rushed on window 22 for pre-screening.

I greeted the lady “Good Morning” she asked me if it’s a good morning, I said it is indeed a very pleasant morning, then she smiled. She asked me;

If I pay the Document Verification? She asked for my receipt.

Then original copies of my BC, CENOMAR, NBI. She then asked;

Who is your petitioner?

Then he asked for I-134, 1040 and W2 for 2007, Employment Certificate and pay stubs, bank statement (good thing I have Jeff’s bank statement yaaay)… Pictures of us (she asked if I made the photo album my self, and she said it‘s nice), phone records, and email logs. Then she asked me;

Where and when did we meet?

When was his first visit?

How many times did he visit?

When was his last visit?

Was he married before?

Does he have a child?

What kind of job does he do?

She then check my DS forms, and asked me to sign 156K (the portion where it says DO NOT WRITE BELOW THIS LINE). She noticed I attached another paper for my DS 157 regarding question numbers 9, 12 & 17. And she asked how long was the longest vacation I had outside the country. She then said “You may have a seat, wait for your number (same number) and good luck.

Yaayyy! Past 10AM I think my number flashed on the q-matic board and I went to window 31. I was asked to swear, at first I was shaking and I don’t know what to say LOL

Then CO started asking me:

What is your name?

What is your petitioner’s name?

How old am I?

How old is my petitioner?

What is his Job? In what state?

Was he married before?

Does he have a child? How many? How old is the child? When was the child born?

He then said “you have tons of papers here” I smiled. (I am thinking I still have some more in my heavy bag LOL).

Then he wrote some notes on his PC and he said there seems to be no problem, you can wait outside and wait for your name to be called. And I said thank you sir, have a good day.

My name was called on window 37 after few minutes, they gave back the evidences. I was given a PINK SLIP ONLY (I can‘t wait to say but Maria and her daughters also got pink slip only LOL she will laugh when she sees this message LOL), and the person on window 37 said, “pay for the visa delivery, and go home“.

I asked God to sit beside me, there were no vacant seat for HIM but I know he was guiding all of us throughout the process. And so I want to dedicate this moment to HIM, praise God!

To Jeff, I know how happy you are, your happiness upon knowing everything went well was priceless and it made me so happy. I love you so much and I can’t wait to be with you again, and this time for good and until forever!

To all the VJ people who shared their knowledge and experience, and most importantly who shared such a wonderful friendship during the waiting for approval, during my medical, during my interview and throughout my visa journey, a million thanks to all of you (I will drop a note to all of you).

Good luck to all of you who will be having their medical and interview soon. Have faith in God and everything will be fine.

Wow! I like it how you prepared your documentation. really cool! I bet your CO was really impressed :thumbs::crying: as for me, I don't know how to start it. Any suggestions? :innocent:

Don't know where to start :wacko:

By the way, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

LOL I was exactly like you when our petition was approved, don't know where to start and was not thinking of organizing everything. But way back while waiting for NOA2 I started printing e-mails and chat logs so I could just relax while waiting for interview day. But still though I have printed chat and email logs, I still was still rushing until the day before my interview hahaha!

So I suggest you prepare all your necessary documents like NBI, BC, CENOMAR, ETC... then start collecting all your proofs like emails, chat logs, pictures in a simple bendable album, phone records, etc...

Easier said LOL I know... but I want to wish you good luck and may God bless you throughout your journey. THANKS!

ate you said "bendable album" :crying: what do you think about my scrapbook? :crying: do i have to change it? :crying:

Why Do I Love To Cook?

I love to make people happy and amazingly enough nothing can put a big satisfied smile on someones face after a good hearty meal. That's why I love to cook.
