Hi All ~ Happy Hump Day afternoon!

3 weeks from today will be flying out to be back in my babys arms

Interesting situations everyone has with the ex's ... no 2 are the same.

#1 is the kids, #2 - everything else.

Blended families are always a balancing act & its us women who walk the tight rope & make some hard decisions. Good thing theres a forum like this to bounce ideas & share experiences!

Well, mommy and daddy had to camp out in zaids room last night bc our windows are getting replaced today in our bedroom. What a fun night (NOT) I was right Annie, Zaid must have thought we were having a party or something cuz when he woke up at 3am he though it was time to wake up. Now I am so tired on top of that I am getting a bad cold. i just keep telling myself only 24 more hours of work then I have 7 days straight to relax. cant wait til next week!!!

Oh zaid has finally babbled off his first real word...which didnt turn out to be MAMA. It is indeed "BABA" and as much as I hate that he said it first, it is friggin adorable when he does it. I got a video of it and am going to try and upload it in a few minutes. Sofyan has pretty much drilled it in his head seince he was born, so it kinda figures it turned out this way...

baba can mean bottle instead of daddy if that makes u feel better.

anyway i was sad when my daughter said dada first to.

LOL Promise I'm not setting the table but I am thinking of table settings!

I am planning w/ my gay hubby we do our holidays together always! We started on our guest list, decorations, and what food to plan for and fun fruity drinks to make. It's always at his house and this year we have a bigger place so I told him its my turn. We are fighting like girls at work

Besides we have a cute back yard and I thought about having sheesha set up and our fire pit for later in the night! OMG, I'm getting excited!

Terri, I cant believe you can Bstilla, this is one of my all time favs and if you can give me some tips I'll much appreciate it...I actually have been cooking up quite a Moroccan storm over at my place

as far as extended families...yeah good for kids

I have done my best to maintain on good terms with my ex, his soon to be wife and my mother in law

not to say we dont have our issues with some people in the family but for the most part we have all risen above

i do like to keep myself disconnected, out of respect for my husband and me just moving on in my life

i realize even now, more, the reasons I got out of that marriage

but ultimately I agree, for the kids sake, and being friendly

we did spend 13 - 14 years together as a family, so we do it for the kids
