04/05/2009-called nvc automated system show case number shows visa number not available

04/17/2009--case number generated by nvc

04/21/2009--received ds3032 and AOS bill generated --happy

04/21/2009--paid aos bill-status pending

04/22/2009-sent ds3032 via email

04/23/2009-aos shows paid online

04/24/2009-sent 1-864 via usps mail--automated system indicate received ds-3032 on 04/23/2009

04/25/2009-iv bill generated and paid same day -in process

04/28/2009 status paid-printed coversheet and sent ds-230 usps next day

5/11/2009-two emails received -missing ds-230--cant log in website also

Excellent. Looks like NSC is in the lead with TSC not far behind. The NBC transfers haven't begun yet, something that bothers me a bit, but still - this is good news. Keep 'em comin'.

I emailed my Congressman and asked him to inquire about my application. Here is the response from VSC.

"A review of our computer system shows that the case is in queue for interview date availability as of 12/5/08. Once an interview date is available the applicant will be notified, via the mail, of the date, place and time of the interview." Tina Nichols, Vermont Service Center, Congressional Unit

Hopefully,I'll get my interview letter before Xmas!

Congratulations that is great news indeed!!

I received a letter from TSC,replying the service request put in when i called in Nov.They informed me basically that my status is awaiting availability of interview date,an appointment letter will be sent..

Fingers crossed,it should be here soon.My case was transferred to NBC,please help correct that in my timeline.

I don't have the envelope anymore, but everything on the letter indicates it came from the local office.

I just joined....Here is my status

Service Center : Vermont Service Center

Local office: Newark, NJ

Date Filed : 2008-10-21

NOA Date : 2008-10-31 (transffered to NBC)

I haven't heard anything else from USCIS. Anyone know why applications get transffered to NBC?

According to this web site...

"The NBC was established to serve as the hub and conduit for USCIS local field offices by completing all pre-interview processing of Forms generally requiring an interview. This pre-processing includes conducting background security checks."

My case status was showing up online until recently. However today when I try to check the status it says that it 'Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online' and that there is a validation error...any one experiencing the same problem? I do not know what to make of it. Any information is appreciated.

Just received the "Request for Applicant to Appear for Naturalization Initial Interview" letter today (12/26/2008). The interview date is 02/09/2009 @ 1:25PM. Does anyone know if this time (1:25PM) is too late to get interview and Oath in same day for Atlanta office? It states that the proceeding will take about two hours.
