At the end of the day they can't take away your homeland. So it's good to keep yourself attached to things back in your home country. For me, it will be politics, and Coffee Crisp

Can't say I've tried it. I like chicken more so than meat lol. But it's too bad you're in CT. I need to find some Mainers so I can practice the accent so when I get there I fit in like a champ. Bumpaaaa stickaa in the caaaa ehehe. Thats what Jeremy always says, and everytime it's hilarious lol.

lol See my problem is I apparently talk differently with other Canadians than I do with Jeremy and other Americans. It doesn't help that I'm one of those people who elongates their O's and what not.

That's great about Justin Trudeau - he is really on his way, now!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

If you are living in the US (or anywhere actually other than Canada) yes you can vote in Canadian elections. You do however need to have an expected return date, and have to have lived outside of Canada less than 5 years (IIRC). For those of us who are permanent residents in the US, few will have an expected return date, so they won't let you register.

I believe htey mail you an absentee ballot though, if you register outside the country.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!

I'm so dissapointed in the voter turnout, it's such a shame that more Canadians don't recognize the importance of voting and what an amazing right that is.
