Stupid Question... the USPS tried to deliver today

I mailed the DS-230 overnight to the NVC on friday and the usps website said the delivery was attempted and left a message but was not delivered. I dont think the NVC people will call for redelivery. Just curious if anyone has been in this situation. thanks

NVC doesn't work on Saturdays and doesn't have a box or have someone to receive mails on Sat.

Simply and usually, USPS will re-deliver the package on Monday but since Monday is a federal holiday and NVC might be close you package should be re-delivered on Tuesday.

Don't worry and don't add more frustration to your life.

Just wanted to say I had the exact same experience twice in applying for the K-3. Both when I sent the 1-130 to the Chicago Lockbox and then when I sent the I-129F to the California Service Center. Both times the USPS automatically redelivered on the next working day. If you have any questions or concerns you can actually directly call the post office where the package is sitting and speak to the person in charge of that route. They can check for you and make sure that it is in that day's out going mail to the NVC.

Don't worry should be delivered soon.

same thing happened to me also. They tried to deliver on saturday and since noone was there they left a notice. Then on monday they delivered again. I am not sure if the post office attempts another delivery on their own or if NVC calls them seeing the notice.

Happened to us, too. But they completed the delivery the next day that NVC was working. And even though I waved the sig they still took one.

The USPS is very reliable and I'm sure they have a standin deal with NVC to redeliver w/o having to have it requested. So don't worry.
