Case was completed on Sept 12th. Have been waiting all week to hear some good news. NVC operator said CR1 interview was scheduled today for Nov 10th!

Now's the tricky part. We have a K3 interview scheduled next week on Oct 16th. Operator couldn't tell me when the documents would be sent out but I see a DHL package on it's way today to Chennai. I am just praying it's ours, gets there on Oct 13th, so we may convert the K3 to a CR1 interview, and collect an interview letter in person to get the medical stuff done on Oct 14th/15th. I'm probably being way too optimistic...

Congratulations cyberdeep for interview. By the way not to disappoint you but 13th october, embassy in chennai will be closed to observe columbus day. Its frustrating that they have 6 holidays in ocober only. Still hopefully it works out for ya. :thumbs:

5-05-08- DS3032 AND AOS fee bill was generated today

5-05-08- paid AOS fee bill $70 online

5-07-08- AOS FEE now says PAID online, can print cover sht.

5-07-08*cald NVC and msg says AOS $recvd

5-12-08-DS3032 EMAIL Accepted

5-13-08*cald NVC and msg now says DS3032 choice of agent has been received.

5-13-08-mailed AOS i864 packet w/printed cover sheet from online payment (certified mail- priority)

5-18-08 iv FEE bill invoiced

Hi cyberdeep,

So I guess you were not able to expedite your CR1 application through NVC.

Did you submit all of your documents to VFS using your K-3 interview letter?

I would think you could get your medical done also using your K-3 interview letter. Just make sure all the reqd. vaccinations are given.
