Grr, I just called the NVC and I was told my case was not received yet, and that it could take about 2-4 weeks and sometimes even 90 days for a package to reach the NVC. mmm.... I guess i'll have to wait a little longer and try to call again in a couple of days... :hehe:

I just said goodbye to my sister. She is off to be a holiday rep and she'll be gone for eight months. It's sad as I don't know when I'll see her again :crying:

My fiancée was unable to obtain any vaccination records. When she went for her medical, they did the blood test and signed off on those vaccines she had already had and gave the rest.

There are some theories that there are new internal directives to hold about 10-15% of all cases randomly for AP at NVC. There is no solid evidence to corroborate this, yet statistical analysis of VJ timelines does suggest it.

Yeah I know. As soon as we find out where she will be working me and my mum will try and visit her before I leave.

Hello all!! Congrats on the new NOA2s :dance:

On a side note, I urge all of you to call NVC as soon as possible especially is there are more than one consulate dealing with K1s in your country. I just called them and was told that our file was going to Vancouver because that is the only consulate in Canada dealing with K1s... that's BS!!!!! I'm in Montreal and the consulate here deals with it to. I was trying to tell the lady that she was wrong but she wouldn't hear it. So she finally went to check with someone and came back with the same answer!?!?!?!? WTH???? Dex is on the phone with them now cause I couldn't get a hold of them....always busy....but for some reason a USC got a line right away....interesting!!!!!! LOL

I REALLY don't want our file to go to Vancouver, cause I know it will be hell transfering it back to Montreal. For those of you who don't know, Vancouver is about a 6-7hour plane ride from here and very pricy

I'll keep you posted!

WHAT?! OMG!!!!!! I talked to NVC yesterday and they said they didn't have it input yet. Have you gotten your NOA2 in the mail? I receieved mine today and it said the consulate was Montreal. You? Keep me posted, please

Hi everyone!

Just popping in to say hello and see how things are going. Congrats to everyone that has been approved lately and those who have actually had the interview -- how exciting!!!

I just received a date in April from the embassy in Kingston for Andre to drop off the DS230. Hopefully we'll get an interview date in May or June. Which is perfect as I was planning my next visit around that time. Knock on wood that it goes as planned.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Well we're still waiting for the hard copy. When I called, the lady actually gave me the new case number which started with VAC.....When Dex called, the person who he talked to said that it was an error and that we are supposed to go Montreal not Vancouver. She told him to call back on Monday and she would run it by her supervisor. Thank God it didn't leave NVC!!! Hopefully, all will be back to normal on Monday. As for you, if the notice shows Montreal, I'm sure you are fine, but maybe you'd like to double check just for your peace of mind....good luck!

Yes, I'm planning to be there if everything works out. That would be great if we get our interview date at the same time.
