HI VJ MEMBERS,

IM NEW TO THIS VJ FORUMS...I AM AN APPLICANT FOR K-1VISA CATEGORY,IM FROM MINDANAO PHILIPPINES....AND THANKS GOD MY PETITION WAS APPROVED, LAST OCTOBER 2 SUPPOSEDLY WAS MY INTERVIEW IN US EMBASSY BUT I HAVE TO UNDERGO MEDICAL EXAM YET... ALL MY TEST WERE GOING ALRIGHT EXCEPT THAT THEY LET ME UNDERGO SPUTUM TEST BECAUSE THEY FOUND A LITTLE WHITE IN X-RAY FILM... MY 3 DAYS SPUTUM COLLECTION WAS ALRIGHT AND MY SMEAR RESULTS IS NEGATIVE...AS OF NOW I HAVE TO WAIT 2 MONTHS FOR MY CULTURE RESULTS..

HELLO" MEMBERS IM JUST A LITTLE BOTHERED , ANYONE KNOWS OUT THERE!!! AFTER THE CULTURE RESULTS AND THE SAINT LUKE WILL LET ME GO BACK TO THERE CLINIC HOW MANY DAYS THEY WILL GIVE ME BEFORE THEY CAN SCHEDULE MY INTERVIEW?????.... AND AS I HEARD IN SOME FORUMS HERE THAT AFTER YOU KNEW THAT YOUR CULTURE IS NEGATIVE THEY SAY THERE WOULD BE PHYSICAL EXAM BEFORE YOU CAN CHECK OUT....WHAT IS THIS PHYSICAL EXAM MEANS? BECAUSE AS I REMEMBER I THINK IM DONE WITH THE PHYSICAL EXAM... :whistle: WHEN THE DOCTOR CHECK ALL MY BODY....AM I REFFERRING THE SAME?

Sep/22/08 - Medical (pending sputum)

Sep/29/08 - 3 days sputum collection

Oct/02/08 - interview (to be re-sched. by saint luke)

Dec/08/08 - medical Approved!!!

Dec/22/08 - interview APPROVED!!! YAHOOOO!!!

Jan/01/09 - visa in hand!!!

Jan/14/09 - Arrived on U.S.A ( Idaho)

Jan/21/09 - married!!!

hello jaminzel

i was also caught this loop of sputum culture... waited 2 months and when all result turned out to be NEGATIVE...

i just had my vaccination and same day they release my result and schedule of interview... well the interview will be the soonest date available maybe 2-3days after... so just hang in there.. collect your documents... pray... and prepare your self for the interview...ok

Did you have a PPD test? It is small injection under the skin, usually injected on inside of arm, and that makes small bubble; it goes away in several mins.

Thanks for your reply, at least it makes me feel better and that i can think of how many days is expected before the interview, so that we can prepare.. it nice to know i will not wait longer for the interview considering that im from other part of the philippines and need to travel...

will the saint lukes tell us the results over the phone?

I am guessing maybe you are already in U.s. now? Have a nice time!!! thanks for sparing your time.....

We have over 13 million Illegal Aliens in the country most of them coming from Mexico or countries south of thier.

They bring in disease, Crime, Poverty.

And we have to jump thru hoops to get people in USA.

PPD/TST is given to the kids only.

03-03-2009 - AOS, EAD, AP sent to Chicago office (USPS)

03-11-2009 - Notice Date

03-25-2009 - Case transferred to CSC

05-05-2009 - GC, EAD card, AP received. :D
