Hey guys! I'm new registered member on this site, but I have been reading and searching this site as a guest for some time now. All the information I have found on here has been SO HELPFUL, but there's just one thing I don't quite get. Over the past month, I have seen people post their own personal timelines and everyone writes in "TOUCH" dates. What exactly do you mean by this and where do I go to find out if our case has been "TOUCHED". We received our NOA1 in August, but on the USCIS page, it says our case was last updated on-line on 08-21-08. Can someone please help me and explain all this to me???? I'm kinda lost here.

It means your case has been looked at. Everytime an officer looks at it they scan it into the system which shows as an update if you are following online. So in your case you have been ''touched''!

No, I guess we haven't. It's been almost two months since it was last updated on-line. Should I be worried? :( Any help I can get will be GREATLY appreciated. I miss my habibi SO MUCH!! :( I swear sometimes I feel so helpless. Thanks for your reply. Good luck on your process. All of you are in my prayers. May God bless us ALL!

Well don't despair, some people go through the whole process whithout seeing a ''touch''. Sometimes this is because USCIS are not the greatest in updating their online systems.

Don't worry, it is absolutely normal to not get touched for several weeks or even months. USCIS has other petitions and things to do as well ;-)

My last touch, for example, was July 10th. So, relax!
