DV paid in AUGUST, Visa pending as of OCTOBER 7

my thought for that is the embassy and call center are not synchronized with their data system. they are not actually fooling us rather the call center is not updated frequently by the embassy. That's why most opt to call the embassy directly for a more reliable and up to date information. We cannot place the fault on the call center, rather on the mother of it all for failing to do a better job updating the system. Call center is useful in setting up appointments but not on follow up of cases.

Try to calm yourself sis, take a deep breath and relax. You are stressed out with this process. Take a breather for a while. I know where this anxiety is coming from.

hi, i called call center twice after knowing and confirmed that my dv arrived in embassy, thats when they start not giving us Filipinas infos calling the 301 number, calling call center is just waste of time, and waste of money, my twice attemp goes to nothing, b4 they give me info about my case, they ask me a lot of question, like , name, address, when we filed, when my interview, etc etc etc, it took a lot of time before they can give me useless info, after answering all those question, the only answer i get from them is your case is still pending, the processing time will took, 2 to 3 months, try to call us again for any updates, and again they will tell you, thank you for calling this ******** number, etc etc,

my second attemp was after 2 weeks since my dv arrive in embassy, and still same message i get from them,

i was so upset, i ask the lady, if my dv arrive, and she said, Not yet, so i tell her why is your system is not update? I told her my Fiancee called a week ago, and Grace confirmed it was already there, and all she said is again is Thank you for calling etc etc, and hang the phone,

after that call i never try to call that number again,

Yes its very sad how it works, i feel sorry for myself after trying to get info, i feel like im crying, not for the money or time i wasted but the way they treat us,

I've been reading a lot of complaints with regards to Grace, Lorraine, Call center, CO's etc, yeah that's true, there was a time i had this chance to call Grace like 8am and she's nice but she keeps on insisting to call at 1909.. but she asked me my case# and lil' bit of information telling me my case is under review.Gosh, that's why the best way i'm doing now is going to USEM personally to follow up my visa and so w/ my 2 kids TWICE A WEEK at window X.

Hi! I'm new here! I've reading all your stories and there's a lot of us who are waiting a visa. Calling Grace and Lorraine doesn't make any sense becoz ithere was one time i talked to Grace early 8am and she's insisting me to call at their call center then she asked me my case# and not completely satisfied w/ her. What i'm doing is to follow up my visa personally TWICE A WEEK at window X. Right there, they asks your case# and probably there's a remarks below the screen. Last Nov.3, she told me that my DV was there Oct.28 (i think that's good news), I came back Nov.5 and another thin lady told me that my case is for approval na daw kse wala na daw akong pending. Nov. 11 Monday, went to Window X again, it's so frustrating becoz it's still under review. Today Nov.13, still under review. I can't believe it! it's 7 weeks already of waiting.

your twin sister got lucky coz she was interviewed on the month DV was removed from the requirement. can you enlighten us more on your story? but i think you still have to wait until your CO is done reviewing your case before they issue your visa, i just don't know how much longer you have to wait.

No! My mom is our petitioner, she's a US citizen, our category is F1-unmarried sons/daughter... My sis paid her DV two weeks before her interview, but mine i paid after my interview becoz i dont have any idea about this DV thing so maybe the reason of all the delays is this DV. Haaay!

I was interviewed Sept.26,2008 DV-NSO-Sept 29,2008 USEM rcv my DV-Oct.28,2008 (went to USEM personally Nov. 3,2008 told me at window X that my DV is there already) Nov.5 went to USEM again and told that my case is under review and itsfor approval of visa na kse wala na daw akong pending. Nov. 10,2008 went back to window X again it's under review, today Nov 13 window X again it's still under review. Haaaay! I can's help myself cry kse my twin sister was interviewed Oct.14,2008 she got a txt from Delbros one day after her interview, we have the same petitioner and my case has no problem. My sisters case has little problem but her consul didnt even bother ask. What can you say guys! pls Reply. I need your reply.

No! My mom is our petitioner, she's a US citizen, our category is F1-unmarried sons/daughter... My sis paid her DV two weeks before her interview, but mine i paid after my interview becoz i dont have any idea about this DV thing so maybe the reason of all the delays is this DV. Haaay!
