Greetings to all.

Please guys if you know the answer of this question. I am filled I-130 for my wife recentrly after our first file got lost " by USCIS". After long time of wiaiting, I decided to spend time with my wife. I asked a leave from my work. They said that since I need more than two months, it is better that quit formally and they hire me when I come back. Anyway, now I am expecting to receive I-864 form and one of the questions I have to answer is my employment. What do you thing I should say. Ow, btw, I made more than required for the last three years.

Thanks to all.

Can you get a letter from your employer guaranteeing to hire you back?

Maybe a long shot.

You do not have to worry about it until you get done with USCIS and get sent to NVC. I would recommend at that point you be back at work.:dance:

Yeah...but he's already at NVC.

Abbas, have a look at the LingChe NVC guide.

If you have enough assets, you can use that instead of employment.

If you can get an employment letter, and your finances show that you've already made enough money this year to satisfy the guideline, you'll be OK.

Otherwise, you're probably going to need a sponsor.

Good luck....and when you get back, please bring me one of those globes that you shake and it snows on Casablanca.

...the journey continues.

Since they're looking for ongoing ability, I think you need the letter from your company stating that you are guaranteed a position. That plus what you've already earned this year would likely be enough but with the silly questions they have about my income, I wouldn't be 100% certain that you won't get an RFE if you don't overwhelm them with asset data as well.
