name change via deed poll

hello all,

i have a question, that i hope one of you good people on this site can answer for me, 28 years ago i changed my surname name via deed poll to that of my partners at that time. we were never married and after five years he died , i never changed my name back as having two lovely children with him,

however, i have all the paper work for my name change along with my birth cert which my man send with the 1-129 and others forms, i am just worried that as not heard anything for a few months this maybe because of my name change? anyone else with this name deed poll

Hi there.

I also had my name changed via deed poll (only a few years back now), and there was no problem with it what so ever. I just submitted copies of my birth certificate and the deed poll showing my name change and that was it....I was going to write a note to explain my name change, but I didnt in the end.

Im sure everything is fine.
