My I130 was touched on 10/03/08... this has got me all excited.

Looks like they are now working on June / July Files

Is VSC finally getting their act together???!!! OR am i just being too optimistic

03-05-2009: NOA2

05-18-2009: K3 visa approved (Mumbai Consulate)

05-22-2009: POE LAX

07-10-2008: NOA1

03-05-2009: NOA2

08-13-2009: IR1 visa approved (Montreal, Canada)

08-15-2009: POE LAX

I hope so.. Our I-130 was touched for 2 consecutive days (October 2 and 3).

You are being too optimistic.

I don't blame you, had the same optimism when our case was touched in April and May.

There are still at least 10 of us with touches in April and May and still no approvals, I think.. Probably more.

Theoretically before they approve April, May, June, July applicants, they will need to give a shot to March filers like us..

Hang on in there.

'CaNdiD wiTcH' - we do have the same time lines and if both our files were recently touched - that definitly counts for something

Don't get your hopes up too high...there are alot of March and April filers that have gotten their first touches recently and nothing! No approvals!

There are even a few February filers that are still waiting.

If you're lucky enough to get approved fast, then you'll be pleasantly surprised...but if you get your hopes up, I'm afraid you'll get hurt and disappointed.

I personally think that the touch was for bringing your I-130 and K3 file togather. VSC is actually speeding up but not so significantly to approve June and July Filers. I wouldnt bring my hopes up but...hey U never know....so keep praying....U guys could be the lucky ones.
