Check email 50 times a day to see if there is any message from uscis

Login to uscis account 100 times a day between 9am to 5pm to see if "last updated" date has changed

Click on reciept number even when "last updated" date hasn't change, hoping that maybe there's a different message

Clicking on everyone's time lines to see if someone close to your dates has heard anything

Printing every email and reciept etc, so that when you're finally approved and have an interview, you can bombard the interviewer with "proof of bonafide marriage"

LOOOOOOOOOOL

Feel free to add your own things that you do!

Hey, You are not alone :D

I can totally relate what you mean. ... i almost frozen and literally yelled in my office, lol. Anyway it is one of the best feeling you will get, crazy that we still half way to go but again geting through the horrific and silent wait of USCIS is the worst horror to go through, lol. Now its all over and we are worrying about different things such as PCC which is the worst pain for us so far in collecting req docs. So my suggestion have it all ready when nothing is critical other than NOA2. Good luck.

Hah!

I forgot about the screaming out loud part...and I was home alone.

Listen to what SKluvSH says about PCC...start working on it now.

The applicant/beneficiary, needs a Police Clearance Certificate from everywhere they've lived since age 16.

Actually...anywhere in your native country that you lived for 12 months or more, and anywhere in a foreign country you lived for 6 months or more.

...the journey continues.

I didn't know that...lawyer never mentioned anything like that. So he would need from his country of birth and then also the Netherlands where he's lived for 10 years...great...I can see that by itself taking a year to obtain!!!!:crying::cry::ranting:

Hey guys, it's almost monday... Weeeehhh!!! This means we can go back to our retarded way of checking the USCIS website 20 times a day! LOL

I already warned everyone at work that if I come blazing out of my office screaming amd jumping up and down; not to be alarmed, but that we were approved. heh heh

Lisa

I was thinking about that the other day...that when I get that approval, I'm probably going to jump up and scream or burst into tears of happiness!

I can totally relate what you mean. I was actually getting tired of the last updated date which was constant for 50 days of checking like 20 times a day. Interestingly i significantly reduced it the week before approval as I was giving up hope of getting approved anytime soon. But in funny situation I had to go friday mosque prayer during lunch on 26th sept and prayed with the deepest wish to come true and I come back on my way talking to her while she was going to sleep around 2 am. I logged in on friday after noon and wow I couldnt believe that I am seeing a change of date to sept 26th last update and i almost frozen and literally yelled in my office, lol. Anyway it is one of the best feeling you will get, crazy that we still half way to go but again geting through the horrific and silent wait of USCIS is the worst horror to go through, lol. Alhamdillah, and Mabruk to you. Mashallah your time went by pretty fast. I have also asked everyone I know to make dua during Ramadan and my husband was also praying much for us to be together. Of course, it will only happen when it was meant to happen...not a moment sooner or a moment later...

But I still can't help but checking the site everyday. I am looking forward to the day I can call my husband and say, "We got it!"

Hi, my fellow suffering souls:

This is terrible... Yes, I used to check the USCIS thing ALL the time. Now that I'm at NVC I don't call them anymore: I ASK my American to CALL THEM EVERY SINGLE DAY  . Oh, and I can't live without this forum...

LUCK!!!
