Wow Rahma, 3 years!!! How have you seen him change in those 3 years? Any good suggestions on those of us with spouses here only a few months or so? Sometimes my husband gets upset about how things are done here and how he thinks us Americans let others rule how we discipline our kids and we put to much into our animals, etc...etc....etc.!!

Happy Friday All! (F)

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. What are the plans??? :star: Thinking dinner n a movie...hmm. We are planning turkey day as well. Trying to see who will be flying in and staying, etc.

AMAL----I'm a stumble addict thats where the topic came from. LOL :P I have been doing it for about 2 years too. I love the wacky sites you can find.

Tasha---I'd be the same way. I'm sure I will be so nervous and crazy when he starts working.

Happy Friday!!

I am not so happy today..Spent a good portion of my morning at work puking in a garbage can in our vault room.. I got relieved finally and am home now relaxing and sippin on some Sprite...

Happy Friday!!

We haven't found a magic formula yet, just lots and lots of patience.

I really should have written down all the things not to do, but alas, I've blocked them all out of my mind :lol:

The husband doesn't understand our animal obesession either. inshaAllah we'll be adopting a kitty soon, and I'm trying to tell him what I've learned from Think Like a Cat. Unfortunately, sometimes it can be like talking to a wall :no:

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

When my husband got here his hatred for cats was evident on the outside but deep inside I knew he was a softy. When we took Christabelle to the vet last Saturday he was the one to hold her while the doctor did the shots and the de-worm gel and he was the one she snuggled against the whole time. I swear I saw a tear in his eye when she cried but he denies it vehemently. :whistle:

3 years ago today the husband landed in the US. I'm trying to think of what to get him. I think I'll just go to target and find something cheezy with an american flag on it.

This is really a busy time of year for presents. It's my birthday, his anniversary of coming to the US, our anniversary, and then his birthday. Thank goodness Eid is moving up, so in a few years it will be far enough in front not to be in the huge present crush.

I got my husband a baby LOL. He arrive 2/17/07 and 2/18/08 he got a son. How's that for an anniversary present? :lol:

We saw Eagle Eye in the Imax theater and it was awesome!

Plans for the weekend? Well tonight I'm competing against my 11 yr old in guitar hero. I predict that I'll lose. lol. Tomorrow and Sunday I'm working. October is the one month out of the year that i work my big fat azz off. :P

Happy Friday! Adam & I are in Savannah Georgia on vacation til Tuesday! We are visiting with my sister and little nephew and neice! We took the kids on a pet/nature trail walk & are exhausted! I seen a gigantic spider as we were walking that I can not imagine a spider getting that big! I think tonight is Oktoberfest in downtown Savannah, then tomorrow is Tybee Island to the Beach! :dance: Hope all is well! Will send pictures when I figure out how to do that from our new camera to the computer to here :blush: Have a great day! -Tam & Adam
