Hello VJers... Im still waiting for my visa... I interviewed last Aug.28 and i got pink and white slip. White slip because i only pay my DV in the time of my interview date. I didnt pay it prior. I dont kbnow if my doucment verification is already done in the NSO..

By the way, the NSO will not tell you anymore guys what is the status of your DV. The representatove of the USEM went to the NSO place to tell them to stop giving info to all the applicants asking about they're DV. That's the new order and if you want to check your status, you need to call they're call center which is kind of expensive....

That's why in my case, im just gonna wait but after this week, i will call the place to check what is the status of my DV if it is with the embassy. Last AUg.29, the DELBROS already forwarded my request to the NSO and they got it. Id ont know if it is already forwarded to the embassy because i havent give them a call.

Who among you is in the situation like this? Anyone there who also got interviewed last AUg. 28????

Hoep for your reply.. We just all need to have patience and wait for this. God willing, we will received our visa soon..

LOTS of peeps in the "same boat" as you. Looks like it's more common to get put on AR because of DV now than getting same day approval.

I just saw where someone had paid Delbros 23 days before their interview and the DV still wasn't completed and they ended up on AR.

Hang in there.

I paid DV Aug.28..that's more than 1 month in time of my interview. With the unsuccessful calls and feedbacks of those who called NSO, it could just be luck that our DV is done by Oct.16.

As what i read StephnRia in your previous topic, we have the same Consul.I was interviewed tha day after yours , Aug.28. and i was shock as what you have experienced to her because in mine, it was opposite.. She was the one entertaining me and she relieved my nervous. She didnt even ask me many questions . As the matter of fact, i was the one sharing to her about my fiance and I relationships and i feel it run smoothly through the grace and mercy of our Lord.

It's just what she told me at the end is that, OH ITS FINISHED I THINK (then she smiled). She told me that i dont need to worry. All i need to do is just to pay my document verification fee and just wait for mynumber to be call again.

And then that's it. We say thank you to each other. I think it only last for 3-5mins of conversation.

Hmmm do we have the same CO? Is she chubby with bob cut blond hair? ERmmm :/

Its not when you paid DV apparently, its when they sent your DV to NSO *sigh sigh*. If you paid DV a month before your interview but they sent it to NSO a week before your interview, it will still be delayed. But how come there are people who paid their DV late and still they got their visa sooner? Im like thinking, i shoulda followed up my DV in NSO, badgered them with calls everyday before they forbid it.... darn it.

Oh in my case, i just pay my DV the day after my interview thats why it took so long. Im also wondering why there are people who pay they're DV a month before and yet still waiting for their visa so long.. Maybe it's just you need to follow it up to the DELBROS.. But in my case, i really need to wait 'coz i just pay DV in the day of my interview.

As what i know, the NSO will not give you info as of last friday even though you call them. Representative of US came to their office and ask them to stop giving info rather applicants should be the one to call the call center of the embassy if they want to know the status of their papers. That is what Richard and PJ told me when i call the NSO place to ask if my DV is done. hmmmmmmm
