Hello to all,

Im new to this so pls bear with me. Have pending K1 visa and my bf identified my son in the 1-129 application and since my son is only 15 yrs old, he may derive immigration benefits from the same I-129 petition and will be issued a “K-2” visas. Was hoping if u could give me an idea what forms or documents i need to prepare in advance since my timeline is getting close and what other important information i need to know to enable me apply him for a K2 visa. Should I just fill out the same forms i will be filling out like the DS 156 etc etc or is there a specific form i need to fill out for his K2 Visa?

We received our NO1A on May 14, 2008 and it was touched last Sept. 23, 2008. Was hoping to get things ready in advance while i still have the spare time since im a working mom..

You have to fill out the DS 156 for both of you. 2 for him and 2 for you. Also pay the DS 157 $131 fee for both and have 2 copies each for both of you.

You need one DS 156K also for you . Not sure if the K2 needs a DS 156k. Doesn't hurt to have one tho.
