My fiance went this past Monday and they said they could not do physical because there was a spot of blood. She went back Tuesday and they do the physical but they want medical record because she have a surgery last year. So she have to go home to La Union to obtain that. So Wednesday she go to hospital and ask for medical record. They told her to come back Thursday afternoon. She get the medical record and ride bus all night to be back at St Lukes Friday morning. Well she is told the doctor that want the medical record is not in but will be there at 1:30. This is really nerve racking as our interview is scheduled for next Thursday. Wish us luck. :)

Do they really want a medical record or a certification? I was operated year 2003.

Was anyone here asked for a medical record/certification who underwent operation years back? It will be very hard for me to secure incase they require me since am from Bicol.

Thanks.Please share.

Good luck, hope things goes fine now.

hi.

i had a major op 3 months prior to my medical. the doc didnt ask for medical records, although i mentioned it during the med interview. when she saw the scar during the physical exam, she just said, "so that's the operation?" nothing more.

i suppose it's best to bring your records just the same.

good luck:)

i had my medical exam at SLEC wednesday and thursday. i underwent C-section 2007 when i gave birth to our son. during the physical exam, the doctor asked me if i had any previous operations, i said YES and before she could say anything, i then handed to her my medical certificate (from the hospital when i was confine) and a notarized affidavit from my OB and my son's pedia. then after that, she never asked for anything more.

personally i'd say it's best to bring "EVERYTHING" pertaining to any medical concerns just to play safe especially if you don't live in manila...traveling to and fro will be very epensive, time-consuming, emotionally tormenting and physically draining, so i advice, better be OVERLY PREPARED than be sorry..
